I like your story and it seems like you have themes of feminism here, oppression of women, denial of choice, teaching men to repress emotions. It’s a great exploration of these themes. However, I was really turned off by Esme saying that Becky trying to be a son for her father was overachieving. Do you believe that men are higher achieving than women?

I think it's pretty obvious that it's supposed to be a strong mated couple in the circle who can share their bond to communicate during the ritual. And as everyone has pointed out...Edward and Bella's bond has grown much quicker than anyone expected. Plus, they each have the ability to handle more than one element and would take some of the stress off the other performing that ritual. Not to mention the book belonged to Bella's namesake. Bella will be the one to figure it out and bring it to fruition, I'm sure. ;)

I'm here just to remind you how amazing this story is, how we waited and waited for an update, and how many of us still come back from time to time just to read our favourite scenes or chapters. Sometimes I even hope to find a futuretake of E&B as adults in charge, but then I change my mind because I really liked the ending. Thank you.
