Heeheehee, this is glorious. I love the constant war for balance in Itachi's head, you make it look so easy to write for a madman. And I especially love that you made Fugaku a loving, if clumsy father, instead of an abusive idiot. I look forward to the next chapter, whenever it may come.

OMG! A sympathetic portrayal of Fugaku and Mikoto including canon reasons behind the supposed planned rebellion! Both those things are pretty rare in fanfic. I'm very curious where you're going to take this, and to see if Itachi can keep his insanity under control.
