You sure know how to spread the sap where it counts.
| ChubbyTabby chapter 1 . 12/17/2012
Damn it. Eliot's last line made me cry! It was just so sweet!
| Stone Jackal chapter 1 . 11/3/2012
I really enjoyed this story. The whole internal dialogue from John and how he immediately recognized that "Eliot" and "Molly" were two kids in trouble was very well done and sounded just like the character.
I thought it was true to form that Dean was suspicious at first of the other kids, but soon he too realized they were in trouble and his attitude changed. And that he managed to win over wary, distrustful, teen-aged Eliot in protect mode? Sounds like Dean. I also loved Sam falling asleep because he had snatched the flashlight and was up reading all night - I did that as a kid too.
The end moment between Eliot and Nate was very nicely done. Nate would be one not to push for more details and likely the one Eliot would make that mention of his family to. In my head, I've put this in the timeline of just after the beginning of Supernatural's season two, and Eliot in the dark was his way of saying good-bye to John. I'm following this one, just in case you ever add some more snippets of "Dad, Dean, Sammy, Eliot and Molly".

I really wish you'd write a fic where the Winchesters show up and see Eliot.
| Maia2 chapter 1 . 8/29/2012
This is a very sweet story. I like that it would explain Eliot's decision to go into the military, although not his skepticism about anything supernatural. But as it was written early in the run of the (Leverage) show, it makes sense, we did not know lots about their backgrounds back then. We still don't, not really. And while the well adjusted guy from the cooking class in the reunion job does not seem to match a kid with a past such as this story's, Eliot is indeed a good grifter, so he could have pulled off the complete 180.
On a completely separate note, "Not my dad," he said softly. "Not really. Spent three years with them though." sounded perfectly Eliot. I could hear his raspy voice saying those exact words.
Thanks for sharing.
| Mary B. Wolf chapter 1 . 7/7/2012
This is adorable. I teared up a little at the end there. But I'm kind of a sap for family fics, so.
| Guest chapter 1 . 2/15/2012
Ineresting. I like it!
| fic-obsessed1234 chapter 1 . 1/23/2012

| Taylor Hayes chapter 1 . 3/26/2011
I'm planning to check and see if you have some kind of sequel to this up. But if not, that would be amazing.
I love this idea, and I love the way you've written it, and that it really does fit all the characters.
| Bunny1 chapter 1 . 12/29/2010
Sweet and cute. Who's Molly, though?
| IcyAri chapter 1 . 12/14/2010
I honestly would love to see this continue, with a reunion of sorts or snippets of the three years.
