I laughed when Bella thinks that Edward smelled something in the blood. I would actually think he heard the doctors and technicians and *knows* what is coming his way. Doesn't he have like a 3 mile radius to hear thoughts? But I understand why Bella wouldn't think it straight away. Speaking of which, do they know he can hear thoughts? I can't recall that... They do, right?

Wonder if he heard his allies that way, or if he's talking about Jacob's tribe... or it's just someone else... hhhmmm...

Kudos with the verb tenses. You just missed a couple this time around :)

Frankly, I have forgotten most of the story, by now, albeit it was on alert. Why didn't you add a recap? I think I'll wait until is complete now, there is no point of me reading and then forget everything again.

You're certainly never short of intrigue in this story! Love it.

So good to see an update! I'm so glad Edward and Bella could communicate without tipping off anyone else. Wonder who the allies are at the secret address...?

How is Bella going to get him out of there? I'm kind of wrapping my head around how she can use some of the things she's seen and information she's been given, but that collar alone is going to be hard to beat.

I don't think Harrison was trying to be cruel, but she sure was. Poor Edward! Well, at least Bella has some clearance to come in regularly.

I very much liked the use of Morse code in this chapter. I am eager to learn what the address holds in store for Bella. The explosive charge in Edward's collar is one of the worst images I've ever held in my mind's eye of that particular vampire.

And I was discomfited by this:

She was carrying a person, an unconscious woman in a red dress. Carlisle gently took the woman from Hale's arms and laid her on the ground. The distant sound of sirens blared off screen, getting louder and louder as they approached the scene.

How do you intend to wrap this up in two weeks, when Breaking Dawn comes out...? (I will be at the midnight show with my 12 year old niece.)

OMG OMG OMG! I totally spent all day, and i do mean all day from 10 am to 3 am reading this with the exception of a few hours of cooking for the fam. i.e. Lunch, Dinner. Now... how soon can i beg ya for an update. Seriously you can't leave it like this, she's about to see Edward! I am stunned that your amazing story only has 500 reviews. Yours is one of the best written and amazingly original vamp fics I have come across in ages. It probably has such few reviews because everyone else is like me and dying to read the next chapter... not wanting to spare a second for a review!

It completely baffles my mind that you have only 500 reviews! I've ran into fanfic wih 12,000 reviews that simply don't hold a candle to you're imagination, creativity, and writing. You should also know that I abandoned this story 10 chapters back just waitin for you to finsih it because you're updates have been very slow...anyway, because of abandoning you, (to refresh my mind) I reread the whole story AGAIN and was just as enthralled the second time around!

One reason I think this story has far less reviews than it deserves is the slow updating. Usually, myself included, abandon stories that take sooooo long to update and not many come back to it. In fact, this is the first time I've come back after a break up :) and surprisingly am doing so without holding a grudge at all...a masterpiece like this understandably takes some time. I do still hope your next update will be soon :D

Nice chapter. In the beginning I was all for the human resistance but now they're all or nothing motto is starting to annoy me. I mean, c'mon, even BELLA is beginning to see that there are some good vamps in the world, the whole believing she's unstable thing isn't really helping the situation either. Still the best stories are the ones that inspire the strongest emotions and I do loved Eddie ) Can't wait to read more
