Dr. Singh's ramblings were very funny. Poor guy. After doing my Masters thesis in Organic Chemistry back in 2006/2007, and being stuck in a lab for way too many hours, I understand his lack of social skills and sympathize with him :) Although I don't think I'm that bad because my friends and family would've slapped me by now LOL.

I really enjoyed Bella's discussion with Dr. Sun. Dr. Sun's perspective on her work was very interesting, and I also liked the inclusion of philosophers and physicists, as well as their theories and deaths.

And now Bella is finally going to see Edward. This is going to rival Steve McQueen's "Great Escape!" LOL. I wonder what Dr. Harrison picked up on Bella via Nessie ... (which, by the way, was a hilarious addition to this story).

I so need to know what's going on with Edward!

At least he has one thing going on for his side: he's unique. And being unique means he has to be kept alive, so whatever they are doing to him, they have to keep that in mind. Which does lead me to this: if Jasper, Lucy and Alice show up, two of who are several decades old, and all who have a talent, then Edward would be screwed... Because when one is not unique, then one can be spare...

I'm terribly curious about how they managed to get hold of vampires. I thought Edward had been a fluke, and to some extent he was, so how would they have caught a vampire? I'm also very interesting in what they have found about what venom does. Very nice explanation about their skin too! It makes me wonder what Carlisle would be able to contribute if he were on their side.

Great chapter! Glad your back and updated, I missed this story. I think that something is up with Bella but he isn't sure just what it may be. I also think the only reason Harrison is taking Bella to see Edward is to analyze them. I hope Bella is able to get Edward out soon. The Asylm is creapy... I truly hope Edward is okay. The anomaly Dr. Harrison found tells me she is looking at what makes Bella the powerhouse the Volturi are afraid of and the good doctor does not see that...yet.

I personally feel that Dr. Sun knows something is up with Bella and she might let Bella see Edward only to evaluate how Bella & Edward react to each other.

You paint a hopeless picture with this asylum - the description of it interior and the scientific names...the implications of torture and darker designs. Very well written. My skin crawled. lol.

I really enjoyed the build up to E&B seeing each other and hope they can get out of there alive.

Great chapter. Lots of technical stuff in there, but it didn't get bogged down because the characters were so interesting. Singh was so funny. His rambling reminded me a bit of a coworker. And Dr. Sun... boooo... hisssss...

Harrison was an interesting young thing. And she's taking Bella to see Edward! Can't wait for the next chapter!
