When you updated this story, I legit scream. That's how happy I was even if I was a little bumbed at the rush ending but hey, at least this fic reached completion. Tbh, I was actually hoping for a few more chapters - like a reunion of Vergil and his Year 5 class after the events of DMC 5 or something lol.

Honestly, the ending feels weak as you just summarize what happened instead of showing it. I love Nero coming to teach at Hogwarts, but I would have loved to see Kyrie there with Nero and Nico.

Needless to say, it was a good thing Vergil hadn't stuck around long enough to be arrested, as even Dumbledore lacked the political clout to protect the Son of Sparda from an enraged Amelia Bones throwing the book at him.

Hell, considering how whatever means he used to escape had apparently damaged the wards that kept the Ministry from being discovered by the outside world, Albus wouldn't be surprised if Amelia hurled an entire Library at the man.

While time had led to his true calling as an educator, Dumbledore had not forgotten the lessons of his political aspirations, and so as much as he would have loved to try and smooth things over, this was sadly one of those times where his hands were tied.

By the end of the day, Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgour's first act, other than vowing to 'purge corruption from the ministry', had been to issue a bounty. Dead or Alive, for the errant Son of Sparda

It was very nice to get this little prologue! Thank you I had fun reading.

If nothing else, at least you finally brought closure to a well belived crossover fan fiction which not too many authors are able to do due to personal reasons or any number of other conplications arising. Yeah. The reboot sure did seemingly end the Devil May Cry franchise until the real DMC5 finally emerged to right a wrong. You made sure to end things definitively leaving no loose ends which is another rare trail almost never seen when trying to hastily come up an ending.

Meanwhile in the world of Harry Potter, there have those prequel movies which I never watched. If only those in creative would understand that eberyrhing has to come to an end. That there is no need to drag on a franchise long after people stopped getting invested in it. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for ending this story with a definitive end.
