I have no words.
Your writing is just so captivating and in character. You've managed to create a world that I adore and am so entranced by that I have just completed my 2nd read in just 2 days. I fully believe that if you were given the opportunity to write for Bones, your creativity and understanding of their characters you would replace every writer currently on Bones. I am starving for more, seriously on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what exactly happened between the two of them and how it's all going to work out. I simply adore this story and your writing and I'm anxiously waiting for more :) I really hope you chose to continue and write more stories because I would most def. read them.

I seem to be the only one left a little confused by the last 2 chapters...not that that is hard to do! LOL.
When I started reading this fic, I thought that time-wise it was 'generic' it could fit into anywhere after coma/dream... I hadn't been thinking of it as also post 100th...but it must be if we take into account the following references:
**But then he'd broken. After months of careful treading, he had slipped with the helpful goading of their friendly neighborhood therapist, and he'd done what he had sworn he would never do again.
He had gambled.
** don't have you're kind of open heart.
Too raw to be ignore.
Too fresh to be pushed aside.
...so this now fits into the basic current canon arc from the show? ...Does that mean that all of this took place after the events of the 100th? But it only follows the show to a certain point? Brennan hasn't gone to Maluku?
I will have to force myself to go back & re-read earlier chapters (such a hard task!) & read it from a new perspective.
Sorry, for so many questions, I'm not trying to be difficult or confusing (although I am do a great job at confusing myself lol) I am just having trouble keeping the sequence of events straight...& working in some canon moments into the story, sort of threw my preconceived notions off kilter. lol.
**Okay, then, let's go for a different outcome here…
...I certainly hope that Booth's return from the warzone does have a different outcome. :-)
The descriptions, the emotions, the intensity...all still beautifully written.
Despite my confusion, I am still very much enjoying this & as always, I am left eagerly anticipating the next update. :-):-):-)

| Aching Bones chapter 15 . 11/6/2010
Booth is still struggling with his inner turmoil...wondering just what he is doing there...
'Why was he here? What the hell was it that they thought he had to offer?'...
I just wish he could go home myself...home to where he should be, with Bones...not out there on a mission that he is not even sure of himself...
Looking forward to more...

Wow! I take it that "intense" is your middle name! ;0) I love your style of writing - you go so deep into their thoughts/feelings...I love it. You have to have a reunion - pretty please...
| Ashley055 chapter 2 . 7/14/2010
Just a real quick hello to tell you that I just found your story and I'm dying to continue on to the next chapters - however, I needed you to know how much I adored a particular line from the second chapter: "She gave him a curious smile, her eyebrows drawing together as she struggled to grasp his humor. He could see it in those crystal blue eyes. Her heart wanted to laugh but her brain didn't get the joke." I re-read it about five times before continuing. I see this exactly - multiple times in each episode of the show - but I've never read it worded so wonderfully before. It's utterly perfect - and it's simplicity surprises me. Nice job! ... I'm off to continue reading now! :)

So glad that you are back with this...Truly beautiful! So well written and described...I could quote forever...Loved...
'For now he would breathe while awake and settle for living while he slept...And so he slept if only so that he might dream a little more'...
Hated how he doubted himself...How he doubted a 'them'...How he had cornered her and possibly ruined everything...This definitely was not our Booth here...But totally understandable Booth too...
'He didn't know how not to want something that wasn't real, didn't know how not to miss the fantasy'...
Really looking forward to more...

Do I want you to continue? Hell yeah! I was only thinking of this fic a few days ago wondering if you would update soon. It's one of those that stuck in my head and I really really really need to know how it all pans out! I can't even pick any particular sentences out of this chapter that stand out... because it all stands out! I've got tears in my eyes at the thoughts racing through Booth's mind right now :( Totally heart-crushing :( Poor, poor man :( I don't mind what you write next... I just can't wait for the next chapter. Totally amazing writing x

I was going to review the last chapter only yesterday and beg you to continue, so you can imagine just how pleased I was to check my inbox this afternoon and find the link waiting. The wait was agonising but so so worth it, and this story is still as gripping as ever. Sensational.
