Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. Wow. I cannot even...comprehend the amount of...of FEELS. Now normally I prefer Shawn!whump, and while I bookmark Lassie!whump I usually don't read it. But this...I literally don't even have words. Profound, is a word that comes to mind. Heart shattering is another - a phrase, at least. Soul crushing despair...Seriously, well done. You did an amazing job portraying the emotion and really getting the audience to feel instead of just saying something like 'Lassie got shot, almost died, and Shawn flipped out.' I wish I could more coherently say how breathtakingly you wrote this, how perfectly executed it was. But alas.

Oh wow... this must be one of the best Psych fics I've ever heard...
Let me just tell you, you are an amazing writer... the plot was good, but the way you carried it out was brilliant.
I even started to get a lump in my throat at one point...

I've love a sequel, of[/if] Lassiter waking up later, perhaps dealing with all he told Shawn... or that Shawn saved his life...
But you ending was great as well, so that a sequel isn't actually needed [just desired, how can you expect us readers to not want more?]

Aw shit. Man, this was intense!

This is some dark stuff... Lassie contemplating suicide. That came out of nowhere. I never really thought Lassie to be the guy who showed fear, even in his last moments, but I can live with this take, though I don't prefer certain plot points.

Kudos to you for writing such a coherently intense plot. I enjoyed reading it.

I give you full marks for harrowing, ruthless intensity. It was very gripping, twisty, angsty, sharp and edgy- like electrified barbed wire.
