I'm so excited about this. it's so refreshing to see a daddyward who is middle class, instead of ridiculously rich and has to hire a nanny who just so happens to be... ta-da. you know what I mean. Gah, you're already tugging at my heart strings from the get go. I feel so bad for Anthony, poor little guy has to be so angry and confused and sad. As much as it must hurt Edward to hear that "I hate you", I can't blame the kid for reacting that way.

I really enjoyed this first chapter and I will follow your progress. I like the idea of a "rough start" in many different ways and not just in romance, I'm used to found perfect Dadwards with perfect child, so this looks very interesting!
