Aye, top foreword that, and not a moment too soon.
Another lovely chapter, with greatn banter. Especially liked:
“Hah! You're reading this all wrong. Every crime-fighting heroine needs a wise-cracking sidekick.”
Go, Lisbon! I say.
Still, I read this through my fingers. Can't believe the peace is going to last. Fearful of what may break it...

Brilliant update. I couldn't imagine them changing much at work either. The insight into their private life is as beautiful as ever. Can't wait for the next chapter...

Fantastic, even more for reading it on a Monday - great way to start the week. :-) Very much enjoyed your usual delicate touch - never easy to write those kind of scenes without either making them seem gratuitous or just a bit too pornographic. Smut is all well and good but it has its place, and this would not be it...
Perhaps only one 'image' that didn't quite work for me but otherwise, this is as accomplished as ever.

I've been a silent fan up until now, but I suppose this is as good a time as any to say how much I'm enjoying your stories. I came to The Mentalist thanks to summer reruns, and I quickly fell in love with Jane and Lisbon. I then started searching for stories that did them justice, and yours are among the best. This one, in particular. It is true to their characters, as well as being honest about how they could carve out a life for themselves despite so much being unresolved.
I'm anxious to see how the progress in their relationship affects the rest of the team, assuming they figure it out. ;) Grace will be thrilled. Rigsby will probably be happy, but somewhat nonplussed. Cho will no doubt raise an eyebrow, but likely won't bring it up. As for Bosco, well, he already thought something was going on, so he'll probably just be his usual jerky self.
One question: Are you planning on resolving the Red John situation during this story? If so, I'm *extremely* anxious to see what you come up with. If not, that's fine too. It's a lot of fun just watching them be, well, maybe not normal, but as close to it as they can get. Looking forward to more!

That was great.
There is no betrayal here. Only love, and the memory of love, and a world big enough for both.
A little bit of a moment here. Glad it was the end, otherwise I would have had to take a moment to breathe. :)
Loved that Lisbon made the first move in this department ;)

What a beautifully written chapter - I'm so glad you made them equals in the bedroom, and even that lovely line: "He's less assured than her fantasies, infinitely sweeter." Isn't that the way it always goes? Great job!

I am woefully behind in reviewing. I'm really enjoying this though. I love the way you're doing Sam Boscoe. I know, we haven't really met him yet, but still, I'm determined not to like him. I really enjoyed Lisbon's brother and the way he teased Lisbon and looked after her. The fact that Jane seems able to open up to Lisbon like he can't or won't with anyone else i like too. Loved the latest chapter, very well done. Can't wait for more.

Oh... This is a wonderful chapter. I was a little wary when you first introduced the more bedroom centered activities, but they were wonderfully written and oh so heartwarming. It made me tear up and smile and laugh and it was just fantastic.
Thank you for writing.
