It is excellent story that has lots of fun to read.
Lucy and Lelouch interactions were really interesting. Having inside in their thoughts was also great part of this story. Little shame that they didn't get together at the end but I understand why.
I really like what you did with Shirley and her niceness allow her to become genuine friend with Lucy.

My 2 favorite moments were battle against Knights of the Round and lie about Poison-and-Cure Gambit .

You modified diclonius somehow (they did not had super strength in canon for example) but it served story well and was not really weird.

Cool idea with Zero looking in the shadows and nobody knowing how long she can leave so nobody knew when it will be safe.

Lelouch not being exiled also created interesting dynamic with him playing on two fronts.

"Brazil was worse than Japan" but of course my friend, here the snake eats loose lol.

I was very confused until the middle of the chapter, so I decided to read the synopsis of the fic in its entirety and my friend thought... how
screwed this story will be, because if there's Elfen lied in the middle (Vietnam flashbacks) that's what I'll get

Incredibly good story! I loved how it both has drama from code geass and misery from elfen lied. It also feels to me like a much better Elfen Lied story than... Elfen Lied. The original felt like a misery wank, this one has a very proactive Lucy and great plot. And Code Geass part is, again, incredibly well done. I was also in awe with the amount of knowledge put into the creation of this, from history to chess to literature... topugh it's hard for me to believe that Steinitz being defeated was enough to stop the evolution of chess because genetically improved nobility would probably devise the more modern style. I know you're not here, but I just wanted to say: daaaamn did you bring me some great moments. Oh, and I'm writing this after my second complete re-read.

WOW this was a ride. I should really stop binging, but good stories like this just draw me in so much!

At first I was a bit sceptical since I don't really know ElfenLied, but that's not really a problem for enjoying this fic. It's enough to have a basic grasp on how the powers work, the rest is explained in-story.

And what a story this is. The showdown in particular has so many twists and turns that it's a bit overwhelming, but things just continue to get better. I love the ending.

Another really great aspect lies in all the politics we see in the earlier parts; subtlety, intrigue and consequences are afloat much. Gives Game of Thrones vibes. Another thing I appreciate is that it doesn't waste too much time with events that basically mirror canon as we know it.

All in all, I had a great time reading this! 10/10 would read again!

Awww, that was nice. I like seeing Lucy and Shirleh get along but that's prolly I love shirley and would have been very sad if she died.

So... I am 100% watching Code Geass just to be able to understand this story better. I love your writing, but especially the nuance and delicacy of thought that goes into your political intrigues. In all my years of writing, your world building and attention to the intersection of cultural, economic, political, and militaristic realities is the best I have seen.

I'd love to know how your thinking has developed over these past few years.

A truly wonderful fic. The story is very well written and ended quite nicely. You managed to write from end to finish with a lot of content (plots, deaths, characters and all the emotions that are surfaced and jumbled up each episode) despite only around 150K words and I respect that. Like your humor too. I do agree that this ending is better since well, it is Code Geass and added with Elfen Lied. The only thing lacking about the fic is probably the amount of recognition it has. I found this only after digging through a lot of CG fics and I'm honestly glad I found it. It's truly a wonderful story and for that, I'll say my deepest thanks to you author for all your efforts. Oh and just another word. Underrated. (seriously 250 favs? or maybe it has low exposure)
