So, I kind of hate McGonagall. I don't usually. I dis/like her or am ambivalent towards her character, but you flat-out made me hate her. Her p.o.v. when she picks up Harry for shopping made me think of how most purebloods look down on the mundane-born without understanding (or trying to) where the others are coming from.

Her general bad attitude about the students in her care is rather horrifying and I -know- that prejudice is rampant in Hogwarts, it's hard not to know, but seeing it from such a vastly different position is startling.

But congratulations, I love how you've written this story, and the logical steps that you've given the Dursley family in how they're different from the canon! I first read this back when there were only three chapters I believe and I love the progress that's been posted.

I just love your version of Draco and CrabbeGoyle. This was a great read, I really really hope you'll update it at some point.

I didn't want to review again until I finished all chapters, but I have to say I love this small detail about Platform 9 3/4. It perfectly explains why Molly would forget which platform it is, if she spent the last 10 years sending her kids off at a different place. I do believe that's the first time I've seen this way of explaining it, and it just makes sense. As far as I'm concerned, this is now canon, and I'll use it if I ever get back to writing HP fanfiction (giving you credit for it, of course)

Damn, I really should be studying right now. So I should just finish reading this quick and THEN study (yay procrastination!). I'll just heap some praise on you real quick and get back to your story: Original idea, great intro, interesting change, characters have depth and are likeable, good spellinggrammar. But this hasn't been updated in 2 years. Oh boy, I know I'll be disappointed but I'll read it anyway. Here we go...

Gryffindor's are the ones who put all their money into bets, and lose the bets. Hufflepuff's are the ones who put a little bit of money in cause everyone else is. Ravenclaw's are the ones who make a killing selling to people who they think will win, and Slytherin's? Slytherin's are the ones who win the bets.

Excellent Sorting. Boy, do I feel sorry for Draco-he's about to go through seven years of hell. But hey, he's a Malfoy, so he deserves it (sigh).

Good for Harry-Hufflepuff will turn out well for him.
