Love it! Sedatives are not fun and you described everything perfectly :)

That was a really well-written and imaginative idea for a (whumpy) one-shot.
I'm beyond glad the team was there for Eliot when he needed them to rescue him for a change - despite his warning them and sending them away, lest they get hurt.
It's always good to know (particularly in his line of work) who you can trust without a shadow of doubt. Thus, he knew he could relax and relie on Sophie and Nate to take care of him, when he was immobilized and mostly groggy from the sedative.

Really enjoyed this. It was interesting to see a vulnerable, hurt Eliot. good job

Nicely done. And, I had to laugh at your opening comments because I too skip song lyrics in stories. hee hee.
Anyway, I thought the descriptions were well done and nicely vivid. The whole thing had a laid back, wavy feeling, like riding a water bed, which is perfect for the situation and descriptions.

Hehe, excellent insight there- not adding the lyrics. I so get what you mean. I'm exactly the same kind of lazy. If I don't know the song, I'm probably not going to read it, and if I do know the song (unlikely here, since I mostly know Japanese songs) I don't need to read the lyrics, do I? In this case, I don't know the song, but I enjoyed the story. Very cool! I had a similar laughing-gas experience ('wow that looks sharp...pretty! this is probably goint to hurt... how 'bout that, it does hurt. and yet i don't really care...this is kinda fun'). So yeah, I totally get where the material is coming from. And of course, I always enjoy random fun with Eliot! (bows) Thanks!
