| Demon Blood Dragon Slayer chapter 2 . 12/13/2013
This seems like a good story. I was just getting interested.
| Cushite chapter 1 . 7/14/2013
Hell, I enjoyed it. I never imagine a Tenjho Tenge cross with the Boondocks, but now the thought of such a cross excites me. I imagine Huey having great similarities with the character Bunshichi, both being without the advantage over others due to supernatural lineage, but very formidable opponents nonetheless. There's a lot of room for growth, though, like Souichiro and Bob in the beginning of Tenjho Tenge since Huey's presumably unaware of the level of true skill students of Todo Academy are on... As for the fighting style, I guess you could say his style is mixed? I don't think Huey's been formally trained by anyone at all-the creator mentions nothing in specific about his martial art style. Huey's used Nunchaku, a staff, a sword, a gun... Seems like he's knowledgeable of various forms of combat. His development of chi/ki like in the cartoon could just be due to his rigorous training sessions or gathering knowledge about the subject, and not actual tutelage. I encourage you to continue! Oh, and just out of curiosity, do you have extensive knowledge of Tenjho Tenge?

You should probably make him a highly-skilled martial artist who is good in hand-to-hand combat and main use of weoponry are nunchakus, katana, bo staff, and the occasional airsoft gun, including is own creation the Black Power Fist.
"Shown to be a highly skilled martial artist, Huey oftentimes demonstrates on various occasions an ability with nunchaku, katana, bo staff, as well as hand to hand combat that far surpasses the expected capabilities of a 10-year-old. Though he has won several fights against Riley, a pair of theater guards, Stinkmeaner on one occasion (though with the help of his grandfather and brother), Ming on another occasion, Uncle Ruckus in the season 3 finale, and his former friend Cairo on another occasion, he has been defeated several times (Stinkmeaner, Luna, Stinkmeaner's crew, and Uncle Ruckus), his fight with Bushido Brown ended in a draw (Bushido Brown left the fight to protect his ward Oprah Winfrey), Luna was a Kumite fighter and a White Lotus expert, and Stinkmeaner was at the time, a supernatural presence, and though Uncle Ruckus beat Huey the first time it is not shown who won the rematch; the beginning of the fight was the end of the episode. He also fought a few of Winston Jerome's men. Huey regularly beats Riley with ease in their fights despite the fact Riley often uses objects such as frying pans, or golf clubs in their fights implying Huey is very disciplined and skilled against armed opponents. " Boondocks Wiki
And his brother (who would probably make an appearence) is more of a street fighter with a thuggish way of figthing when it comes hand-to-hand combat and has a talent for airsoft guns.
"Riley sometimes overestimates his own rather crude combat abilities, such as when he tried to fight his brother in "Let's Nab Oprah". His thuggish fighting style, both with weapons and hand-to-hand, failed several times against the precision of Huey's martial arts ability. He does seem to have some talent with airsoft guns, as he fought Huey to a tie in season two (he was more heavily armed, though). It can be shown that he has a strong amount of endurance and determination, seen when he receives many harsh attacks from his opponents (like Huey and Butch Magnus) but is able to continue fighting, seemingly ignoring his injuries to a certain limit.
Riley often uses his bare fists in combat, as seen in his fights against Butch Magnus and Lamilton Taeshawn. Riley commonly wields airsoft guns, even in combat against Huey. He and Huey used airsoft guns to shoot and chase Uncle Ruckus out of their house when Grandad is on vacation during Home Alone. " - Boondocks Wiki

Good stuff going on so far, you probably already mentioned this, (I read chapter 2, but forgot any of it.), but are you baseing this on only the anime or some of the manga? If so please incorporate only the early stages of either. Since the anime ends terribly and the manga started going off on tangents ALOT, I'd rather not read those same fucked up chapters with no plot. All in all Good start and hope you get the chance to continue this hopefully soon to be epic cross-over._

Hey, man, I feel you. School's a pain, especially when it comes to interfering with writing time. Trust me, I know. Well, anyway, good luck on your studies.
P.S. I am honored that you appreciate my feedback.

Ah this sounds really funny and really good. Well written too. I must say, as I was reading this and you said you don't know what Huey's fighting style was, I'd say (like some reviewers before me) Huey's fighting style is a mixture of Karate, Kung Fu, Bo Staff (i guess it's considered Tai Kwondo), Ninjutsu, and the J-word someone had mentioned. But what really crossed my mind was Rile's fighting style (if he was the one attending the school. I imagined Riely putting "Fighting Style: Bustin' Yo A** UP!) XD Sorry, I'm a boondocks fan and I know very little of Tenjho Tene because I only saw like one or two episodes (possibly because despite what my cousin said) it didn't appeal to me very much. I almost never find an anime I don't like. O.O It'd be funny if Grandad suddenly showed up with Riley and Uncle Ruckus once Huey gets situated at the school. Lol. Well, I hope to read more soon.

As a fan of both Tenjho Tenge and the Boondocks, I have to say, this is a great start, and I hope you update and keep up the good work.
As for Huey's fighting style, I would agree with others that it looks like Karate, because he uses alot of straight forward attacks, and Kung Fu, because he shows great acrobatic feats, and I do think he uses some Jeet Kune Do, because of the Bruce Lee references he used in two episodes. he also uses a Katana, has skills in staff fighting, and he even has nunchucks, so you should also include that info in his style as well.
Two questions: Is he gonna join the JuuKen club, and is he gonna learn Ki-based attacks?
