|Reviews for Only When They're Gone|
| MiniLover chapter 30 . 7/20
Loved it! Amazingly written! Loved your in-depth analysis of your characters and your unique observations into why they act and react the way they do. Awesome!

| tanseynz chapter 30 . 11/9/2014
Rollercoaster! That's all I have to say about that. :-)
| tanseynz chapter 29 . 11/9/2014
Yep, that'll be a catalyst event. Wake up Sookie.
| tanseynz chapter 27 . 11/9/2014
Eric and Sookie separated is always when trouble happens. Why don't they remember that? Victor is very canny!
| tanseynz chapter 26 . 11/9/2014
Considering all the assumptions she makes, it's illogical for her to give herself completely to Eric. She lies to herself continually in order to increase her own sense of self-worthlessness, so lying to Eric is only another short step. Then, when she lets him down again, the whole cycle begins again.
You truly need to give her a catalyst event to break that because his request above is not powerful enough, imo.
| tanseynz chapter 25 . 11/9/2014
She genuinely needs to let go of her insecurities. The immature 'tossing me out like garbage' idea is in direct opposite to his present actions, and until they've actually talked rather than as usual, skirted around the issues then fucked like rabbits, they can't move forwards in any meaningful way.
I get that for them sex is usually an expression of what they can't say out loud to each other but c'mon, over 1000 years Eric MUST have learned it's the unsaid things that always trip you up!
| tanseynz chapter 24 . 11/9/2014
Imo the best chapter of this entire story. Both of them are suffering their own share of realistic misunderstandings this time, plus affected still by what they went through for so long. Their anger at each other is completely understandable.
| tanseynz chapter 22 . 11/9/2014
Ugh, I hate when anything describing Sookie is written as 'tiny'. She's not tiny, and neither are her hands. True Blood did us all a disservice by using a small actress as Sookie rather than one with the physical description CH used in her books.
| tanseynz chapter 21 . 11/9/2014
Sookie was hurting and bewildered when she refused to understand why Eric didn't immediately rescue her from Lochlan and Neave. Will she in turn recognise Eric's own confused state of mind after three months torture?
| tanseynz chapter 20 . 11/9/2014
Omg now that's a cliffhanger and a half!
| tanseynz chapter 18 . 11/9/2014
A very emotive piece of writing. You portray the horror both Eric and Sookie are going through very effectively.
| tanseynz chapter 13 . 11/9/2014
Ok, she ran from him because she doesn't want him controlling her, he puts her over his shoulder and with a few words from him she's back to kissing and smiling? Is she psychotic or what? At the least she should get some answers before going with him, or is this a 'wash, rinse, repeat' thing?
| tanseynz chapter 12 . 11/9/2014
Earth to Sookie, love/marriage IS having your other half drive you crazy plus controlling your emotions even when he's asleep. That's parenthood as well in many ways.
Her singleminded drive to 'prove' her independence is more masochism on her part. Why not put herself in the same position to get tortured again? It went so well the first time...
| tanseynz chapter 9 . 11/9/2014
It's interesting all her defensiveness has fallen away completely now she's away from her home. Maybe the Bon Temps house is bespelled.
