| Levi Ackerman chapter 1 . 11/14/2012
I have been searching hours for exactly this kind of sweet, adorable, fluffy SuzaEuphie fic, so thank you it made me all tingly and happy and I LOVE your Suzaku he is perfect and I really really wish you had written the kink scene too...
| Kurama no Miko2003 chapter 1 . 10/24/2012
It may have been a bait-and-switch, but knowing what happens later just makes me sniffle a little. They want to be together forever, except . . . T-T And I love how you managed to capture both their awkwardness on the subject, Euphy's sweet innocence, and Suzaku's unflagging love for his princess.
| Pile of Ash chapter 1 . 7/30/2012
That. Was. Beautiful.
It was so sweet and I could see how right and pure their love is. The whole 'we have lots of time' was sweet because they want to be together forever. My heart fluttered at Suzaku's actions and respect for Euphie.
| nachan chapter 1 . 1/12/2012
i love this couple, i'm glad to see there're good author out there who can write them well; it made me sad to think that they never gotten much time together before being teared apart completely; thanks for writing such a sweet scene between euphie and suzaku they're so cute together.
| Frog-kun chapter 1 . 10/23/2011
Are you sure you're the douche? Because I promised more reviews for all your Code Geass fics and I sure didn't deliver. I actually totally forgot about that until you replied to my review for Passion Pizza. Okay, so that was most definitely my favourite fic of yours (although I loved pretty much everything you write) hence why I sounded so... flail-y, for lack of a better word. Anyway, I'm usually a much more level-headed person, so expect these reviews to make more sense. Also, when I'm not a flail-y mood, I tend to be way more critical of things I like. I don't know why, but I have to really, really like something before I feel the need to shred it to pieces. So here goes. I hope you're ready. Not that I'll be harsh or anything, I'm just going to say everything I thought while reading.
I decided to start with the very first fic of yours I ever read (I think? I can't remember.) Anyway, this seemed like a good place to start, so here we go.
The title made me lol, which was why I clicked on the link in the first place. And yes, you'll notice I clicked the het fic because yeaaaaah it took me a while to get more accustomed to your more, uh, hardcore work. I thought this was a sweet piece overall. I was more impressed with your diction and writing style than I was with the dialogue and actual storyline. Evidently, I saw something I liked in this or else I wouldn't have gone and looked for more.
I've read this story a few times, actually. Usually when I was in the mood for something sweet involving Euphemia (I, er, have a thing for pink-haired princesses). Of course, if truth will be told, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure read, mostly because the ending is so teeth rotting I always feel the need to visit the dentist afterwards. Euphemia's really cute here - you certainly give her justice here with your portrayal. You don't really go much deeper or do more than necessary with her and I feel that's more the fault of the series itself for not giving her character much depth in the first place. In any case, I liked the mixture of innocence and guile in Euphemia here - it's not a side we see of her often and I have to say I found that kind of hot, actually.
Suzaku surprised me. He came across as really well-intentioned and endearing, and this was a portrayal I was not very used to in fanfics. The way you described him here (and in your other fanfics) have since cemented itself in my mind and - this is strange to say - I think the way I have come to see him was probably shaped by what I've read here. I always saw him as having potential as a character but not particularly endearing (owing to him being a massive hypocritical dick in series), but like I said in my review for Passion Pizza, he's got his own charm. In this fic, Suzaku's at his, well, his most adorable. I'll admit it: there's no other way to describe him here, really. One line in particular stood out to me: 'He gives her his brightest, fullest, and most rigidly unwavering smile.' I could see this very clearly in my head: it's so breathtakingly Suzaku.
Like I said before, this fic was VERY sappy. However, I felt this to be true to the relationship Suzaku and Euphemia had in series, so I had no real gripes with it. I didn't get the feeling that you were biased towards this pairing and so I didn't get this feeling that you were shoving the romance down my throat. That, combined with the liberal doses of humour, this made it much easier to digest. The bittersweet irony of the ending was well done; it gave the story this sense of understated impact, which I liked. More heavy-handed authors would probably have made a direct reference to Euphemia's death, which would have been sad too, but I liked how you pulled this one off. Actually, it reminds me of this doujinshi I once read, which was really more romance than it was porn. You just get this feeling of innocence from them and somehow, that feels haunting to me.
This fic also has the benefit of having a descriptive line that was so very, very true to me: 'There are two kinds of embraces in this world: one kind where you hug gingerly, like two war veterans trying not to tear open each other's wounds. And there's the sincere one, where you feel your heart reaching out to the other person.' It's a line that's come back to me, usually when I hug someone XD
Overall, I approve of this.

Wow, this is very interesting. Excellent story!
| Hikawa Kajinendo chapter 1 . 1/17/2011
Sometimes my reviews become a little lengthy. Other times they consist of only a sentence or two. All I can say about this fic is that I loved it. Immensely. The humor of Euphy's awkwardness made me smile the whole time (I would laugh, but it's almost midnight right now) and the ending gave me a satisfying bit of sadness that I always enjoy. Dramatically depressing fics are fine, but ones like this where there's only the slightest touch of sadness are my favorites. Heh.

| Ice's butterfly's chapter 1 . 5/7/2010
I love this fic! It was very funny. The situation is very original and fully maintaining the personality of this adorable couple, Euphie trying to reach "the next phase" but very her, with all sweetness and with great sorrow and shame, and he Suzaku ... Very, very innocent, very cute very sweet, awwww ... definitely loved this fic, and I needed to read a EuphiexSuzaku without drama or angst (Although the last sentence is melancholy ;_; that ironic ...)
