If I haven’t said so before, I absolutely love “The Seven Year Debt.”

I’m cycling back through stories I’ve read before. I remembered this as funny, irreverent crack fic. Although I remembered, and was moved by, Kavel’s story, I forgot that it, and/or any other powerful short dramas, were also included here. Thanks again for the humor. Thanks for the drama. Thanks for the thoughtful perspectives. I appreciate your writing!

The Seven-Year Debt was fantastic! Great original characters, great science fiction, logical extrapolations of canon and your premise... top-notch storytelling!

I can see why Tyback would have Spock’s backing to get into Starfleet. Despite their differences, they have a certain affinity. I absolutely loved how Spock’s managed to make “live long and prosper” in the movie sound like “f you”, and Tyback’s here is even better. :)

A fascinating, complex, and completely believable premise, very well told. Also, perfect title for this story!

I enjoyed the Keval, Magda, Jimmy story. I liked that, even though the situation wasn't optimal, they each got what the needed. From my knowledge of Vulcan marriage, it seems most are bonded to mates who are not "optimally" suited to them by our standards so would things be so different if Keval opted for a less empathetic mate?

I liked Tyvack since Descartes Error. Hurray for genetic diversity!

Soooooooooo much love for Tyback! Ever since I first met him in Descartes! He's 100% right of course. Shame and pride are both illogical, and that's what compels Vulcans to be so secretive about The Time.

I like this story very much, it is magical. Magda saved Keval and he saved everything. They are beautiful. I'm glad that they stay together. Jimmie is so lucky. :)
