ohh poor merlin - so thin, bony and small in arthur arms - like arthur said like a child (loved the line). It was adorable to read how much arthur cared for his manservant.
| Whirlwind421 chapter 6 . 11/22/2010
Good story. Though, I felt the ending was a bit quick. I really like the idea of the story. Arthur not knowing that he is responsible for his servant! And it explains why Merlin got so much skinny in the second season!

Awesome story! I loved the line from Gwen, "we are servants, not slaves"
Thanks for writing!

Wow. Yet another one of your stories managed to make me cry. You should be proud! :P
As your pen name suggests, you are indeed a master of angst - and I really really love your fics as a result. The emotion and description in each is extremely moving, and the climax scenes are so intensely sad that they literally bring me to tears.
I think that you portrayed Arthurs emotions beautifully in this story - it was truly amazing. Especially the guilt, and the gradual build up to his breakdown. My favorite bit would have to be the scene with Gwen, talking about how morgana provides her with all her necessities. It just seemed so damn real, so true that it deserves to be part of the show. Wow, what a wake up call for Arthur!
Well, I can't wait to read more of your brilliant stories!

This was simply amazing - all the emotion you managed to convey! I swear I was almost crying when Merlin died, and I could feel the guilt Arthur was feeling. This is a brilliant story, and brilliantly written! 10/10!
(i seriously am crying - this was amazing!)

wow, amazing story. I'm glad Merlin lived )
| Sara chapter 1 . 7/13/2010
I'd heard part of that saying before, but it wasn't till I got to the end and read the rest of that saying that I really remebered all of it and its conotations. You made me cry again. I'm also glad you didn't kill Merlin all the way. You keep making me cry! It's hard to read when your crying... just so you know. Great story as usual. Thanks for writing it.

stunning...I love Arthur and Merlin friendship so much. You make it so wonderfully real and believable.
| ILoveThesePeople chapter 6 . 6/5/2010
Damn you for making me cry! I had just got back into my happy zone and then... D: Still, this story was amazingly written and very well believable and, well, it kinda tugged at my heartstrings with the whole crying/guilty Arthur and the dying/martyr Merlin.

Perfect. Very well done. I have dragged myself away from my Weeping Corner to read this and now I am going to my Happy Corner. I don't think I need to explain that to you. It involves me smiling like an idiot for the remainder of the day.
| Miss Fenway chapter 5 . 5/11/2010
So, I have this mental place I go when I'm sad and I want to hide my emotions (which is 24/7). I call it my Weeping Corner. I read this chapter complete with your recommended music and now I am going to my Weeping Corner.

I want you to know that I have entirely forgiven Arthur. Yes. I'm not one to hold grudges and when one realizes the error of their ways, it makes it easier. lol. That was melodramatic. However, 'melodramatic' is my middle name so. . . I also want you to know that I have faith that Merlin will make a full recovery and Arthur will take care of him afterwards. Yup. I have two last names: Melodramatic and optimistic.
