![]() ![]() ![]() When the Darcys showed up, I expected them to be the agents of Anne's escape. How much more exciting that it was her own doing (walking at length and doing the shopping - both local and mail order - that she'd not dared before) and Theo's (facing down the mighty glazing of Rosings to see her)! If Lady Catherine wanted to keep Anne meek and constrained forever, she'd have done better not to have exposed her to the wider world. Delightful! I'm off to see what the Miss Bennets get up to in Bath. |
![]() ![]() I know I’m here twelve years late, but I just devoured this whole thing in two sittings. It was wonderful, thank you so much. |
![]() ![]() What an amazing and well written story! You are very talented and should be well proud of yourself! I fell in love with Anne and the Hart's. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was great fun! What an excellent Regency romance and Pride and Prejudice continuation. I enjoyed the Hart family, particularly the delightful and lively Rosamond, and Anne's happy ending. This fic was truly lovely and refreshing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a delightful story! Thank you for giving us this Anne. I do wish you were still writing, but who knows, maybe one day... |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG! I LOVE your Anne! And I LOVE your Theodore! And I LOVE your A&T! |
![]() ![]() ![]() SHUT UP, MRS JENKINSON! |
![]() ![]() ![]() How would Anne EVER stand going back to her life before? It would be horrible! I hope Anne gets her nerve up to show Theodore how she feels. This is more difficult than D&E courtship. At least east Elizabeth is a gentleman's daughter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good for Anne! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good for Anne! Tell the old bat that she needn't be bothered by the people that Anne talks to. That Anne is perfectly aware of HER station and THEIR station. Don't forget YOUR station! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I see a romance in the near future for dear Anne. So I am a physic... Is that a trade person or higher rank than working class? Good for Anne's future and bad on Mrs Jenkinson. What a snob! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely, really well written, thank you |
