| Siriusmunchkin chapter 10 . 1/25/2012
A crisis averted for a time. He may have stopped himself from drinking Bella dry, but he did intentionally go out and find a human to drink from. He originally meant to kill the man, but luckily the thoughts and memories he saw in the man's mind stopped him. A step in the right direction. Freudian slip when he told her his 'real' name? And what is she telling him by letting him know the name Cullen is familiar? That her memories may just include his family? That she is going to make him work for the answers he wants? Alice may have told her he could read minds. But did Alice know he couldn't read Bella's? She is afraid and cautious. Which is more prevalent?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 9 . 1/25/2012
So nothing in her journal about her recent life. Sounds like it was the list she made when moving to Forks. The eyes were Edward's. She drew them after he left because they haunted her. She kept the invitation to the graduation party because it was a link to the Cullen's and Edward. She has never forgotten him and just maybe has been searching for him all these years. Not dating or getting into a relationship with a boy because all she sees is Edward? How much of her memory loss is an act? Has she been coached by Alice and maybe the rest of the family? Edward is not at all happy with Alice because of her friendship with Bella. It's none of this business though. He left. He has no right to try and dictate what his brother's and sister's do, or whom they associate with. Is Bella trying to draw Edward out? Get him to admit who he really is? That he knows who she is? Admit there is an attraction there that has never gone away?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 8 . 1/25/2012
Ah, but does she really have amnesia? Is she pretending so she can be near Edward? Has she been coached by Alice? The Bella we knew would not be able to lie like this. But is she the same Bella? Has she been practicing for just this scenerio? That she questions his age and then quickly makes the leap to his being a genius and plays the piano? Very suspicious. But because Edward can't read her mind he doesn't know if she's hiding anything from him. Would Alice have known he couldn't read her mind? Is this all a setup by her and the family? This is really fun. Like that it's making me really think.
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 7 . 1/25/2012
Edward is going to use Bella's amnesia to his advantage for as long as possible. He is out hunting and that's a good thing. But Carlisle's call is very suspicious. Edward would remember to make sure the heat was enough to keep the pipes from freezing. It has to be Alice has seen what's going on. Carlisle is calling to see what Edward will say. Will he admit to having Bella in the cabin? Does Alice know Bella is hurt? That Edward is taking care of her medical needs? Is she seething because she knows what's going on and he won't admit it? Is Carlisle disappointed because he knows Edward is lying to him?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 6 . 1/25/2012
Better and better. Making sure there isn't anything that is going to be too tempting is good. Looking through her backpack is a very smart thing. And, yes, Alice did befriend Bella. They became best friends. What was the story on why Edward disappeared? Did the rest of the family also become her friends? What has she been doing all these years? Did Alice suggest she go to college in NC so she might have a chance to find Edward? Where has the family moved? Has Carlisle told Edward where they are now living? Is it nearer than Edward realizes? And now he's confirmed that Bella has amnesia. Head injuries and the subsequent trauma often induce a form of amnesia. Is that why Alice isn't seeing what's happening? And how is this going to effect Edward's plans?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 5 . 1/24/2012
So how is Edward going to keep Alice from seeing any of the decisions he's making? Even his non-decisions were firm. He was going to help Bella. Keep her alive. Treat her wound. Feed and clothe her. Is Alice nearby and keeping watch? Far enough that he can't hear her, but close enough to make a difference? Really having a good time reading this story.
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 4 . 1/24/2012
Enjoying this very much. Very different and very compelling. Alice and Jasper had tried to bring Edward home. He broke Alice's heart and pissed off Jasper to no end because he hurt Alice. Now he's trying to decide the best course. If he can help Bella to heal what will happen? Will he then decide it's okay to kill her? Or will he use her to learn the resistance he really wants to be able have? What will Bella do and say when she wakes up? Guessing she was looking for him which is why she was in the woods in the first place. She chose the colleg in Asheville hoping he would show up? Has she been pleading with Alice all these years to help her find Edward? And has Alice seen that now is right time for them to find each other again?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 3 . 1/24/2012
Will keeping Bella alive and near him do what he intends? Help him to become whole? To resist drinking human blood ever again? Is Bella in NC going to school because she knows he's there? Are she and Alice still in touch? Are they friends? Was Bella trying to find him? To tell him she has not been able to have any kind of happiness in her life because she was captivated by him all those years ago?
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 2 . 1/24/2012
Took him a fair amount of time to get over the blood lust once it started. But he has started to relearn what Carlisle taught him. So exactly what is Bella doing in the woods of North Carolina? Is she looking for Edward? The normal, safe, happy human life he believed she would have when he left five years ago seems to have escaped her. Did the rest of the family stay in Forks? Did Alice become friends with her? And now she is injured while Edward is fighting with a mountain lion for the privilege of having her for dinner.
| Siriusmunchkin chapter 1 . 1/24/2012
A very different Edward. One who wasn't going to be able to control himself around Bella. And wasn't able to control himself when he saw someone who resembled her. An Edward who's self-hatred is deserved at this point.

Was that sin quote from somewhere? I liked the imagery...Edwards thoughts in this chapter...referring to Bella as a prisoner...remind me of Misery. Curious to see if Bella is going to need to...escape...
| Lona W. Hall chapter 8 . 10/28/2011
Lol, June Cleaver vampire...I'm actually surprised the Volturi have let Martha Stewart lead sych a public life ;)
I'm a little confused though, why doesn't Edward want to take Bella to the hospital? Is it threat of exposure or he doesn't want to let her go? He seems to not really want her there...yet, though she's growing on him...or maybe he's planning to drink her when she's healed?
| Lona W. Hall chapter 7 . 10/28/2011
Interesting stuff going on. I liked the part where Edward mentioned he and the others being lucky to meet Carlisle...and then that being about as lucky as Bella crossing paths with Edward...assuming you meant the first time in Biology? Or, maube this time and I read it wrong. i guess I've always been surprised that Edward and Rosalie didn't hold more animosity towards Carlisle...how do they, especially someone like Rosalie, hold that much capacity for forgiveness?
| Lona W. Hall chapter 6 . 10/27/2011
Amnesia? Hope she remembers soon! Dying to know why she was in the woods...bad bella and her soft head...
| Lona W. Hall chapter 5 . 10/27/2011
Ugh, edward in a walmart! Hope he never has to do that again!
