Reviews for Letting Go |

![]() ![]() Beautiful. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved it. It was absolutely marvelous. :3 |
![]() ![]() Oh wow... This was beautiful... I'm in tears... |
![]() ![]() GO FORTH, MY BADASS EDMUND! |
![]() ![]() One of the things I appreciate most about this (beautiful) chapter is the distinction between forgiveness and trust. Edmund can easily forgive Peter for how he has let him down, but trusting him again is harder. Awesome distinction there. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, I've finally finished your story. I still love it, so nothing new there. ;) Honestly, I think I've tried to favorite it five different times after I first put it on my favorites list. I just noticed the date you finished the story and was shocked to realize it's almost been a decade. You may not even get/look at these reviews anymore, but in case you do-people are still reading and loving your story, so kudos. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I thought I was going to save my next review for the end, but I guess not, because this chapter was so satisfying. Ed's rant was kind of perfect and definitely needed to be said. I'd always thought that the movieverse "I know, you had it sorted," left an irritatingly large amount of stuff unsaid, so thank you for correcting this error, if only in fiction. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I usually review at the end of stories, especially if they're long, multi-chapter ones that have been finished for some time. But I had to make an exception, because I love your story so much. It's already quite possibly my favorite Narnia fanfic (although I'm happily finding that there are actually quite a good number of stellar ones out there). I like the brotherly dynamic you have made between Caspian and Edmund, how he came 4 months earlier, that scene with Ed and Peter sparring (I quite like the idea of them "happening" to showcase their talents to visiting dignitaries with that crazy routine), and how you kept faith a part of the story (and now I sort of wish that this was how it had actually gone down). You know, I had wondered what would have happened if they'd entered separately at that scene, but I certainly wouldn't have come up with anything close to this. I'm glad what you did with the what-if, though (or at least so far). I'm sure I'll review this at the end to reassure you of this story's amazingness (is that a word?), but for now, I'll just say it's excellent and leave it at that (too late for a succinct review, I know-oh, well). |
![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutely adored this fic! All the relationships were so perfectly written, I couldn't stop reading! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't even know what to say and where to start. Everything I felt from reading this fic, my heart feels so...alive. Living in the real world made me forget. Reading about Aslan, I've never felt this light since I started working. Thank you. Beautiful doesn't even come close to describing this fic. It is magnificent. |
![]() ![]() ![]() BEST. NARNIA. FIC. EVER. |
![]() ![]() just want to say this is an awesome fic and a wonderful and accurate portrayal of Edmund :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this so much! I can't even put it into words. Like, where has this been all my life. Absolutely brilliant. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this way too much. Thanks for this marvellous fic! |
![]() ![]() This is the third time I read this fic and I still love it so much time cry while reading the sequel hoo boy |
