Incredibly wonderful, well written and paced story. Your portrayal of Severus was darn near perfect and extremely believable. Thank you so much for this lovely story.

This was such a good story! I truly enjoyed it and pretty much obsessively read for two days straight. Good job!

This is very possibly the most adorable story I've ever read. There were so many moments - mostly near the start, when Severus just began to realise that he loved Ophelia - where I had to stifle an audible 'awwwwwww...' at the beautiful moments. So cute!
And the ending was lovely. I liked the slowly building respect and then quick romance, and I adored how you didn't steal the focus away from the children even then. They remained so central to the story. This seems more than a typical romance. It's family :) I loved Ophelia. She's lovely. And her life was so sad :( But I think Severus' love for her is beautiful, and how much she adores him. And I love Hugo. And I, personally, think being a muggle is kind of awesome ;) I love it.
I think... I think some of the Weaseleys may have been out of character, or had their characters exaggerated. But then, I've always been a blatant Ron/Hermione shipper, and tend to disagree with any harsh view of Ron, so I'll leave that there, I think xD
Did you say in an author's note that English is not your first language? That's amazing. You have a narrative gift, it seems, that will guide you through telling stories in tongues other than your own. But your grasp of the English language is astonishingly good. You're much better than many native speakers I know at writing in it...
I think you might be, occasionally (especially at the start), misusing dashes. Sometimes they were used in the place of ellipses (...). But it's hard to remember a specific example.
I loved the story, it was beautiful and expertly written. Well done!

Go Rose! I love how awesome she is in this story, even if she isn't there a lot. She's just, like, all-knowing and stuff.

I take it Ophelia's mother was a prostitute?

This is the loveliest story I've read in a long time! Beautifully written and utterly captivating; I think I may need a nap now, because I haven't been able to put it down to go to bed in days. :) I love the slow, slow development of the relationship and the way you've taken so much care to develop gorgeous and totally *real* personalities for the children. I love Mary, who was once Squiffy, and how she was woven through the entire story. I love how little Ophelia went from being such a shy, neglected child to blossom into a confident, happy little witch. I also really liked how you dealt with Hugo being a Muggle, and everybody's very different ways of dealing with that.
Thank you so much for writing and for sharing this. It was just perfect.

Very sweet story.
| lydiagrace chapter 66 . 3/5/2011
This was so amazing.
And amazingly long, it might as well have been a novel.
But regardless it was perfect.
The children were so hysterical and heartwarming.
And Snape as a father was just...I can't even.
Probably one of the best fanfictions I've ever read.
One of the best writing I've ever read.

This was totally amazing it's actually a fluke I found it cause I went completely through the Severus/Hermione group on fanfiction and I don't recall seeing it, I adored this story I hope you write a new one soon. :3
