Nice story, enjoyed this one!

I’ve read this before, but it is so good that, God willing, I will read it again! Great story, one of my very favourites.

Thank you Robst for an awesome story, finally! someone has gotten it right with Dumbledore. You are an amazing writer, I look forward to reading more of your works.

This is on of those fics you just skip

This fic has tropes galore, but I really enjoyed the camaraderie between the TriWiz champions and their entourage. You get bonus points for bringing in the goblins and making it mutually profitable for them and Harry, without having the goblin nation suddenly going "yay, humans!"

There wasn’t a lot of tension, and the main characters never really struggled with anything, but it was still fun to watch Dumbledore spin out of control while the kids thumbed their noses at him. He deserved to rot in jail, though, and I'm disappointed that didn't happen. Ditto with Snape. I'm surprised the slimy git went as quietly as he did.

Overall, this was a fun, light read, with some genuine laugh-out-loud moments (Dan shouting "pureblood bigots" to activate his portkey, for instance), and fairly minor spelling and grammar issues that I can mostly ignore. I'll probably come back to it in the future when I'm in the mood for something uncomplicated.

I have to insert some linebreaks to stop fandiction net from recognizing it as links and remove them. It usually (hopefully) works.

Kudos on makinflg dumbledore more delusional than evil. AND for making him TRY to be good and do the right thing.

He's a quixotic moron, but he DO try his best to save the world. Most authors fail to see that.

Aside from lacking some guilt, which is what drives almost everything he does next to his good intentions,
your dumbledore is very well written. And written better than in most stories. _

Your story itself is also very good. So keep writing! _

Oh great another story with a muggke father named DumbAssNeanderthal. I really enjoyed it when you killed that motherfucker in that other story. It would be a service to the world if fathers like that were actually gutted and tortured in real life. The reaction is one that DumbAssNeanderthal believes his daughter is actually stupid & gullible..something we know, from YOUR very stories that have her in a prominent role, she is not. I met a dad like that when I was a younger man but due to my upbringing and also the fact I was enlisted at the time...he took extra care to be cordial and friendly. My buddies knew how smitten I was with his daughter (still am btw) and..."Well sir, I'm very careful but accidents DO happen. But I'd never ALLOW ANYBODY to hurt your daughter. TRUST me when I say that." If you're worth a shit as a parent & did a proper job then you'd need not worry about your little princess doing something rash or stupid. I HATE sheltering motherfuckers like that.

Did a reread. Love the story and your characterizations! Just wish he used a different blade to cut his hand! Imagine sometime in the distant future an heir of Gryffindor reads that they can call forth the blade, and they do! Yikes!

The toad’s name is Dolores Umbridge. If you don’t understand why, get out your dictionary.

That is definitely one of the best resolutions to facing the dragon in the Tri Wizard Tournament that I have read.
