This is a great story. A very "human" story. I really loved it. Thanks for sharing. xo

Thank you very much for such an interesting story. Your insight on Sam's taking everything very hard was dead on. I like that you used catatonia as his escape. And I loved that you showed how Sam and Dean's bond had helped drag Sam kicking and screaming back to reality. Bobby's giving his kidney to Sam was very much in character. I really loved seeing how the interaction of the Singer/Winchester family affected those around them. I know that healthcare professionals take great care of their patients but to be able to spend so much of themselves in the care of the family was extraordinary! You have also showed how the actions of one person can affect others down the years. The domino effect was definitly there and a wonderful example. Thanks again for this beautiful story!

Good chapter, good old Bobby, we can always count on him to take care of our boys!

Good story, Vonnie. Liking this a lot.

Congrats on finishing. I actually liked Bobby's POV at the end to show us his feelings. It was a bumpy ride, but he was there for it all.
Thanks for sharing!

What a fantastic ride this had been.
So glad I bought a ticket!
Adored you ending it on Bobby's pov. It was right to do so.
I liked the premise of the simple salt and burn in Ohio...
Happy to know you are thinking of a sequel...I hate to see this one end.
A real pleasure, Von, thank you for gifting us with your words!

Finally the Final chapter! :( The story's end...but that was an awesome journey throughout the whole story. From wee to adult... wow, it was seriously a research work. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this story. Now I'm waiting for the next one. I might have to poke you to get the spoiler for the next story out of your mind. *wicked grin* Please Didi, give me something soon, I need to read something good, there's nothing that's worth reading on this site anymore. Write something sooooooooooon...
Love you, Bon :)

I'm so pleased to see you back with another chapter, if a little sad that the story is over.
And I think it was very fitting that the story ended with Bobby. It really solidifies his part in the Winchester family as the surrogate father figure, always there for the boys.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this fic, its been such a pleasure to read and I look forward to your future projects. Take care, Abbi

I know I've been lousy at reviewing and sadly, I promised myself I wouldn't be one of those...but alas, I am. Life is still crazy and now we have a house waiting to be moved into as soon as the construction crew builds my porches so I can get in the dang door, so life...yeah...still crazy.
I do want to let you know, though, that I loved this story and I think you ended it perfectly. Bobby's POV couldn't have been more accurate. You truly got him, my friend. Great job. will try to be more diligent with your next fics.

Another perfect story! Loved the way you ended it with Bobby's POV, he did earn it! Will be reading the sequel when you're ready with it! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us. Thank you for sharing your imagination and talent with us. Hugs, Leonie.

Nah, I liked the ending. I thought it was completely appropriate to see it all from Bobby's point of view, for the reasons you gave in fact.
A sequel would be welcome, but only when you're ready, hon.
Cheers for sharing this wonderful fic with us all.

Awesome ending to this story Vonnie and just loved how you wrote it from Bobby's POV. So the boys are finally leaving and off to do a simple hunt. Just love how Bobby has made sure there is backup nearby just in case and not at all surprised he has not let the boys know that little fact!
Have loved this story from first word 'til last, thanks for sharing it with us. And will look forward to the sequel when you get time to write it :)

I loved this chapter and this story. Yes it took on a life of it's own, but what a life that was.
I know you have other projects that are in the works before you can start on a sequel, but I know I will enjoy reading the sequel (whenever you are able to start it) as well as I enjoyed the original.

You are a master with no disaster my friend. This story was always a treat for me and I was always excited to see the next chapter. I am SO GLAD that there will be a sequel, I can't wait to see how Sam and Dean deal with Sam's illness, cause we all know that transplant patients can't go without anti-rejection meds, and I can't wait to see how the hunting community reacts to Sam. Will they think him weak? Will they pity him? Can't wait for more but will try and be patient. Also I am excited to see what the next story up your sleeve may be, thanks so much for a fantastic, entertaining, and well written story, it was truly a delight to be along for the ride. Have a wonderful week or rather Haben sie enie gutes tag! Viele danke. I know bad spelling but considering I can't even spell in English and my spell checker does not do German I hope you got the gist. Danke, Nicole.

What an awesome ending my friend. I am so happy for the boys. Sam is finally heled one again and they are back to being the brothers they alwas were, out on the road and getting ready to hunt again. But ya know, I really feel sorry for Bobby. He is going to be soooo lonely after having the boys with him for so long. I almost wish they would have accepted Bobby's off to make his place their home base.
I so look forward to your next story Vonnie!
