This is the second time I've read your story. I enjoyed it as much the this time as last. My love of the Tom Paris character comes from writers like yourself, going beyond the shallow portrayal seen in the series. This individual is just so rich, they really didn't give him enough air time, especially the relationship with Janeway. You show Tom to be so honourable, and yet the rouge we all love.
