|Reviews for The Lizard's Leg and Owlet's Wing Affair|
| LaH Carabele chapter 1 . 10/12/2009
I had read this initially some months ago on another site and found it extremely intriguing. Though I'm not sure I buy into the witchcraft side of it, the whole idea of hallucinogens playing upon thoughts being forwarded by an outside source (in this case Rhianna) was a neat twist.
I don't account Rhianna really innocent in this affair, however. I don't quite believe that she didn't have an inkling at what her "powers" were wanted for. I got the impression she realized more about her brother than she let on and that she saw this as a way to get him out of her way in a sense (though I don't think she intended for him to die). I think she had been given an over-inflated idea of her supposed "powers" by Isobel which allowed her to think she could control the ultimate outcome. And honestly in the end, she did, if not exactly how she might have initially thought.
