Cant believe this one-shot doesnt have more comments. It is really very well written and was just the right mix of drama and humor. The whole concept of Wilson being the guardian angel of House intrigued me, although I dont believe in those kind of things.
You grasped the characters really well. Especially the scene you wrote after "Merry Little Christmas". I was really angry at Wilson for just leaving House to lie on the floor, but writing it from Wilsons POV made me understand his feelings a little better... Im still angry at him, though XD
Your selection of quotes and scenes was very good. I especially like the scene after the " Being miserable doesnt make you better than anyone else..." part. The way House said that it was right to not try it again with Stacy was heartmoving.
It was great that they ended up together in your fic. They just beling to each other, the screen writers of House MD should finally realize that ;)
I also like the way in which you maintained the sarcastic sense of humor of House even in emotional and sad scenes. Many authors here just concentrate on either the dramatic scenes of his sense of humor. Houses comment about not being able to kneel because of his bum leg made me grin :D
Just one question: in the scene where they get together, House made a comment about "going to Florence". Do you mean the singer of the band "Florence and the machine"? I attended a concert of her in October this year, she was just amazing. I can really imagine House and Wilson going to a concert of her :D
“You need to be needed by the needy, when you in fact are one of the neediest people I’ve ever known.”
I liked this definition of Wilson by House. Just so true...
Have a nice evening :D
