Ah. *sighs happily* This story took a lot of turns I wasn't expecting to get to this lovely ending. I like that you didn't just have them make up, then immediately get together seamlessly. I like your choice to have Hermione realize she couldn't just be holed up with him, but needed her 'real world'. You've done a nice job portraying Sirius. I'm not truly a Sirius fan, nor a Sirius/Hermione shipper, but really enjoyed your story. One of the things I like about this story is that you show him sometimes being a hot-head or a jerk (which I feel is definitely the way he comes off in canon), but also as sexy, romantic, and vulnerable. Your story had a very good balance of plot and lemons, and drama, humor, and romance. Really nicely written - thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful, emotional chapter, you had me in tears multiple times. The way you paint Viktor is really quite lovely, the epitome of selfless love. And the way you've portrayed Hermione's torturous emotions is powerful and painful. Well done.

I forgot to log in, but I'm the person who left the last review (in case there's anything you want to reply). I hate to give negative reviews, but I really wanted to be honest with you, especially because, like I said, I'm a big fan of your other work.

I put off reading this story because, even though I absolutely love your writing, I couldn't stand the versions of either Sirius or Hermione in the story you based this one on. And while I'll never be crazy about the pairing in this particular universe (I guess I just can't associate the Hermione who fell into Sirius' arms the second he came to her with an apology after a year of treating her like crap, with canon Hermione- or even your Hermione from your other stories). I do think that you managed to make them both infinitely more likeable than they were at first and I loved the conversation in the chapter before last- it made their relationship seem a lot more plausible.
Also: props for giving Sirius glasses. I have a very, very soft spot for men who wear glasses. ;)

This story was absolutely beautiful. I am awed by your writing skill and plot creation skill. I could never have done this amazing job with an AU story and making torture absolutely romantic. I loved the flashbacks mixed with reality, and the devotion in many forms that came with each character. From Sirius, and Victor, Harry, and Tonks, and even the others there was so much devotion, and that contrasted amazingly with Hermione's conflicted nature.

I loved that you were able to incorporate Lavendar, Pavarti, and Padma so easily. Many writers of fanfiction feel the need to explain the sudden friendship because it wasn't featured in the books. You, however, used one short, descriptive, easy sentence and summed up years of friendship, or at least years of semi-friendship.

I loved the little details, especially the gloves-to-hippogriff change. I loved that Sirius and Hermione addressed their age difference and moved past it; I especially liked that Hermione saw the parallels between her own situation and the situation of Tonks. I loved that little nod to the future concerning Teddy, and how the entire rest of the story after him looked to the future. And last, but never least, I loved your minute, and creative descriptions that brought the story to life: namely "sodium snow". I loved this entire story, I was so very well done. Amazing! I can't wait to read more of your work!
