|Reviews for The Lindworm|
| Aynessa chapter 1 . 1/29
This is amazing. Intense, breathtaking, heartbreaking, beautiful...such imagery! Such expressive phrases! Your writing is incredible. Why on earth does this not have 100000 reviews?!
I don't even know how to express how much I adored this fic. It was so beautiful, I wish it had not ended.
You captured Orihime's personality flawlessly, by the way. I am speechless with awe.

TOO. MANY. FEEEEEELLLIIINNNNGGGGSSSS.
| missmori chapter 1 . 8/4/2012
It's refreshing to read such an original take on the relationship between Orihime and Ulquiorra. Amazing. Your writing has put me in tears. :)
| Gaaras1Girl chapter 1 . 3/17/2012
This was so very sweet. A lovely one-shot.
| lalaspice chapter 1 . 8/19/2011
I remember the first time I read this - I believe it was two years back in Capslock Ulori. I can't remember if I left you a comment but I leave this for you now:
From the literary metaphors to the interwoven development of tenderness and acceptance between Orihime & Ulquiorra, I adore this story. I really liked the concept you created of Ulquiorra having a frightening, bestial appearance but also expressing the humanity he did not have back as an arrancar. Not many writers take the route you took so it was refreshing and believable to see him for what he really was and how that affected his interaction with Orihime. The ending scene was heartbreaking but also beautiful as Orihime comes to accept Ulquiorra by forgiving herself for her past failure. Overall, your writing was absolutely amazing and this is one of the very best fics I have enjoyed reading for this pairing. Thank you!
| Unisawr chapter 1 . 10/1/2010
This just proves it. Even a visual artist can transform their pictures into words just as well as any writer.
I swear - you probably write as much as you draw.
The idea was absolutely brilliant, I have yet to see anyone tackle from this perspective. [And it's even harder since you have no basis to pull from, so kudos to the characterization and interaction.]
The only thing I can woe is that it was not a full-blown multi-chapter - I mean, you could've brought us along the journey of his gradual transformation from a monster to a human (even though on the inside, he's more human now than anything).
But I guess, part of the charm of amazing one-shots is well... their one-shotness - leaving the readers satiated yet hungry for more~
| Amelia Cookie chapter 1 . 8/15/2010
Once in a while you encounter one of these rare pieces that makes you let out a small appreciative sigh at the end of it. This was one of those. So precious a fic this is. I always saw the potential love between these two as so much more than 'silky hair' and 'emerald eyes'. Star-crossed lovers indeed, and what a wonderful way in which you portrayed it. Thumbs up for the lack of fluff, and the sincerity of it all. AND for daring to be controversial, I must say. The problem with portraying Ulquiorra as 'Frankenstein's Monster' has always been that he is often portrayed like a total hottie at the same time. But you elegantly sidestepped this contradiction. Well done!
| Kayah chapter 1 . 7/3/2010
Wow. Just wow. I nearly cried at the end, it was so good.
| GeneralCuster chapter 1 . 2/16/2010
How can this not have more reviews? It was wonderfully written. I cried at the ending. Completely wonderful in so many ways.
| Aquamarine Columbine chapter 1 . 1/30/2010
Oh, whoa. That was amazing. I'm speechless, 'cause I can't think of anything to satisfactorily describe how amazing this story was.
Beautiful work, loved it.
| Galimaufry chapter 1 . 12/20/2009
I have no appropriate words to describe my emotions right now. Not only is this incredibly powerful, it's also realistic, which, in the UlquiHime fandom, can be rare. You mapped out her reactions in character, and you portrayed the...oddness of the relations absolute exsquisitely...I applaud you.
| Meng-4-2 chapter 1 . 12/13/2009
Wonderful story. I love the new perspectives and the unique way in which Ulquiorra came back; I also like the moon and hollow-hole analogy. It's really well-written, too, which is one of my must-haves for a good story. Great job!
| Bibiana-The-Bookmaker chapter 1 . 11/2/2009
Dayum. That was a beautiful story. I really wish it would turn out like this in the actual Bleach series...but it hasn't gotten that far yet. Seriously, your writing is amazing, and I aspire to one day be on the same level as you. Take a bow! You get the super awesome cookie of amazingness! Yay!
| chinaberrykaren chapter 1 . 10/24/2009
I gotta tell you I love the story! You really should write more fanfics!(I demand more : *shot*)
I'm interested in the idea Orihime studying Language. It's quite fit for her I think. She's really intelligent in the study department.(Though sometimes people forget about it XD)
The recall of hand reaching/ finger entwined is very significant. And the contrast between the two scenes is monumental.
Hell I'm not that good at typing in English. I just want to say the story's beautiful and the metaphors are interesting.(I love them all!) And you made my day XD(It's plain boring in hospital.)
| fallenmad chapter 1 . 10/21/2009
I think you did incredibly well considering that I was even 'moved' by your story. It was slow, subtle and so much more human because of the imperfectness of their situation. What fairytale happy ending that we normally conceive, what Orihime may have also dreamed about, is just that, a so perfectly crafted wistful thinking. Furthermore, what deviates from what we have thought up are considered flaws. And these differences makes the story more real than ideal.
