Good story and I'm glad you are filling in that episode - but I just think you misswed what could have been a powerful scene. Maybe you can still add it in a flashback. I think Tony's realization of her blood on his face, but the emotion involved in the moment when he (or even better Gibbs or McGee) take out a hankercheif and help clean him up since he is too in shock to think.
