sorry your dog passed on, we lost 4 cats and a snake last year but they all had good,long lives and sounds like Sparkle did too, that's what matters.

HOW I have managed to miss this fic for so long is beyond me. I've read humans-as-pets/slaves a few times before but this is by far the best of the genre by a MILE.

You know I have this sudden urge to see the autobots figure out that humans are sentient in one of 2 ways. either catch a decepticon speaking english to the humans somehow or mikala using he awesome mechanical skill to fix something rachet left laying around (mostly through guesswork) and have ratchet catch her at it. Not likely but a girl can dream.

On another note, there's something that's been really bothering me. You have the toilet, food, water, and sleeping stuff figured out- but what about bathing? Mikaela once mentioned something about possibly bathing in the sink in Bee's apartment, but you never followed that up.

... and now I feel like a perve. But really, what's with their bathing situation? Especially Annabelle. Last chapter you mentioned that her hair was really dirty. Now, I can buy that the older two are being pro-active off-screen with regards to their cleanliness, but Annabelle is four years old. Four year olds are not known for their raiging desire to have goood hygiene. Plus, if she's like any other four year old, she still occasionally wets the bed. If she doesn't get cleaned off there will be rashes and possible sicknesses.

/rant. Really, I have no idea why this has been bugging me so much.

My Chinese Shar-Pei was freaked by a violent T-storm and ran. He was hit by a car. Sheer will brought him home. When he got to the vet they had nothing to do for him. He had to be put down. It hurt and I stood by and watched. I know your pain and I am so very sorry.

So, i kind of love this story, i'm gonna be honest, i didn't think that I would love this story at all, but i really do like it alot and i'm glad that you're not planning on giving it up anytime soon. So, my question is this, I get that Prime is too busy to actively deal with the whole Earth thing right now, but i would imagine that the xenobiologists would have a few ships of their own and would be more than willing to make their own way to Earth, so where are they, or is their another species that their more concerned with?

You don't have to answer if you don't want to, i was just kind of wondering, oh, and did you get the term xenobiologist from the Ender Quartet by Orson Scott Card? If you didn't than it's cool, it's not like I'm accusing you of cheating or anything. Just wondering, oh, and you should totally read those, 'cause they rock.
