This is why I love your story. The balance of human and mech viewpoints, the comedy, the suspense, the fluff! I always look forward to getting an e-mail saying "new chapter". The idea that Sam would harm Annabelle was clever as it is a common practice with certain species. I loved the interactions with Annabelle. Especially the idea that Ironhide would cry if she didn't let him know she wasn't scared. I'm looking forward to the next mech.

I agree that Sam would never hurt a child, but Bumblebee did have a point.

Like how you cleared up why the doodles did not alert Bumblebee to wonder, but their interaction with Annabelle and other humans should make them wonder.

Perceptor? He keeps coming up.

Love the absolute cuteness of the chapter. Not only that, I noticed you put a lot of effort to make everything believable and real.

Once again, you make a relatively simple/linear story compelling and interesting. Can't wait for more.

Great chapter! I love that you brought Annabelle in for Ironhide. I'm really enjoying the whole story. It's so different from the usual ff universes, as well as being refreshing and well written. Also nice that, while taking a different route, you have kept our favorite mechs in character. Keep it coming please!

Another bot? Well...Inferno was rarely seen without Red Alert in the show, so he is my guess.

As soon as i saw the title 'surrogate' i knew this was gonna be an interesting chapter. And it was!

Poor little Annabelle! (your right, i DO feel dumb not working that out sooner!) She's a little fighter, and i hope that she can cope ok being surrounded by robots she can't communicate with. The injustice!

Sam and Mikeala were brilliant in this scene. I had to laugh at the thought of Sam hurting little Anna, it just wouldn't happen! Sams the BEST! They would make great parents, but i hope they don't have any of thier own kids. It wouldn't be fair on the child, and Sam and Mikeala are way to young, with no more citezens rights than a hamster, (I wonder if there is a cybertronian version of the RSPCA?)

That little bombshell about other not-quite-sentinent beings was brilliant! The communication difficulties for the poor humans just keep escalating!

I really love this story, and thank you for posting it so promptly. I'll eagerly await another quick update, (hint-hint!)

Honey you just made my day! That was so cute, and I can't wait to see more of little Annabelle bossing Ironhide around (cause you know she will).

I've not a clue which 'bot it will be next, but since we've had nearly every 'bot from 2007 movie seen or mentioned in this story, what about Jazz? Or Optimus, since you mentioned he'd be coming to Verita Pax (possibly). Can't wait to read more! Cheers.
