![]() ![]() ![]() i find it cute kinomi likes pantera so much. It's sweet |
![]() ![]() ![]() aw Ggio is such a softy. It's so cute :3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() The rescue scene was one I had been waiting. I love how Grimmjow and Ggio are more concerned with the children's safety- "It felt a like a jolt down their spines when Grimmjow and Ggio realized they were more concerned about getting the children out of the war zone than they were about getting into a fight." Grimmjow who was always ready for a fight, turns down the chance to fight so he can keep his Pantera-chan (and Rukia and the other children safe). I'm so glad Grimmjow took off the collars off the other women, and I was so happy to see him go get Byakuya and Byakuya's son. It shows that he does care for Rukia a little, knowing she would want her brother and her nephew safe and freed as well. It was awesome of Grimmjow to get their zanoakuto's as well. I love Grimm so much in this fic (he was already a favorite of mine in the manga, but you write him so brilliantly). I love reading how Ichigo almost fainted when Rukia introduced him to his daughter and I love Nel's comment to him about how it only took him one round. I love protective Grimmjow in this chapter- ""Ah…" He actually looked embarrassed and Ichigo felt a twinge of apprehension at Grimmjow's sudden silence. "I lay claim to none of them." He finally declared. "But I will kill anyone who wishes to harm them." He added in a snarl, his eyes clearly on Kurotsuchi." It made me a bit sad how he stated that lay "claim to none of them" especially since Rukia is indeed pregnant with his child. Though Rukia and Grimmjow don't love each other, she is still pregnant with his child, I would think Grimmjow would have wanted to be a part of his child's life. I would think since he was so protective of Kinomi, some who is not his by blood, he would be even more protective of one who has is blood in their veins. I love how Grimm and Stark would protect the Rukia and Unohana and their children with their lives- ""I would kill any who wish them, or their mother, harm." Stark answered. "As would I." Grimmjow added coldly. "Even though I don't lay claim to any of them." He was quick to add." I love the tender scene between Rukia and Ichigo- "Ichigo just held her, his arms like a fortress around her, protecting her. " I also love the scene between father and daughter, and how Ichigo was so awesome with Kinomi and accepting of her and telling her he wants to know more about her. Poor Rukia, she was afraid of Ichigo's reaction to finding out she was carrying Grimmjow's child. I love how you wrote Ichigo's reaction to the news- "He felt his emotions range from rage to grief and back again. He forced himself to wrestle through them, but more importantly he held onto Rukia tightly so she wouldn't have a chance to escape." No matter what he was feeling, he wasn't letting Rukia go. Thank you for writing such a tender IchiRuki moment. I'm glad Ichigo was able to think things through and I'm glad he didn't fault Rukia or Grimmjow and recognized that Grimmjow was a protector for both Rukia and Kinomi. I love the introductions of the children to Soul Society, especially Kinomi's when she states- "My Otousan is the strongest in the whole world, though Otooji doesn't agree." Describes Ichigo's and Grimmjow's rivalry perfectly. I really think that the two could have been best friends in the manga, if Aizen wouldn't have recruited Grimmjow. I hope Kubo plans on bringing back Grimmjow to the manga. I love the name of Rukia's and Grimm's child- ""Colmillo Zangetsu Jeagerjaques." and I agree with Ichigo, if Grimmjow was allowed to name Ichigo's daughter after his Zanpakuto, then Ichigo has a right to name Grimmjow's son after his Zanpakuto. I'm glad Grimmjow came to see his son. And I love the nickname Kinomi gives Colmillo- Zan-kun, and I love how it annoys Grimmjow. I also like how Ichigo and Grimmjow finally get around to the fight Ichigo promised Grimmjow. Must have been nice for Kinomi to see her father and her uncle and their power. This is one of my favorite fics on this site. I'm sad to see it ended. I need to go to aff, to read the full version of it and see what I may have missed. Thank you for writing such an amazing fic! I hope you write more fics like this one (maybe a GrimmRuki fic if you aren't busy and if you wanted to, I'm not sure which pairings are your favorite). |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love Grimmjow teaching Kinomi how to wield Pantera and how to fight. Due to Ichigo not being able to rescue Rukia due to Aizen's barrier, I would think Kinomi would start to look at Grimmjow more as a father figure, since Ichigo is not able to be in the picture. I really wouldn't mind, since Grimmjow is quite protective of Kinomi and to a certain extent Rukia( Grimmjow wouldn't allow Kinomi's mother to come to harm). He would make a good father, and he is an active "parent" in Kinomi's life. I love the line- "Grimmjow would be dammed if Kinomi picked up bad habits so early in life." I love how attached Kinomi is to 'Tera, and how she respects Grimmjow's Zanpakuto by thanking her for allowing to wield her. Galgo is so cute, he is like a mini Stark. I love how he goes looking for his father so the two can have naps together. The son is just like his father. I really dislike Aizen in this chapter for making Kinomi fight a hollow. I'm glad Gin was there to take her to Unohana for healing. It's a good thing Rukia allowed Grimmjow to train Kinomi even though she was so young, with the training Grimmjow had her do, and wielding Pantera allowed her to survive what Aizen put her through. Grimmjow must have been pissed and Rukia so scared of what happened to Kinomi. I know the reason Grimmjow didn't confront Aizen and beat the crap out of him, was because he was more worried about Kinomi and wanted to make sure she was alright. I really love how you painted Grimmjow's rage and concern over his Pantera-chan, and Rukia's love and concern over her daughter, that the thought of her daughter being injured created much pain, as if the wounds had been inflicted upon her own body, it really shows the love a mother and surrogate father- "All in his path were quick to move aside in terror, but to Kinomi it was perhaps one of the most welcoming feelings she had ever felt as he stormed in and demanded to know how she was doing, her Okassan right behind him with a look of pain on her face." Great chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have to admit Gin as a nanny is kind of cute. Kinomi being frightened of Gin when she first meets him, reminds me of her mother Rukia in the manga, where Rukia was always creeped out/frightened by him when ever he stopped to talk to Byakuya when she was with him. I'm glad Grimmjow would give Kinomi Pantera to ease her and comfort her. I'm sure that Grimmjow has a relationship with his Zanpakuto the way the Shinigami's have relationships with their Zanpakuto since their zanapakuto is made up of part of their soul. By leaving Pantera with Kinomi, I'm sure Grimmjow is able to stay aware of what is happening with Kinomi while he is away from her. The scenes with Unohana/Stark and Matsumoto/Ggio were quite hot and very we'll written, and in character if I do say so myself. I love Ggio's purring when he is with Ran. I was very much looking forward to Rukia and Grimm's time together. This story has made me a GrimmRuki fan, and so I was hoping that there would be something developing between the two of the romantic type, especially considering that the two had to have sex. But I have to say the way you wrote it seems more realistic, since I can see Rukia not enjoying the act because she is in love with Ichigo and not Grimmjow. She wouldn't even being doing it, but she knows better than to test Aizen and disobey his orders. I can also see her laying with Grimmjow as a sign of respect and thanks to him for all he has done for her and her daughter. It hasn't been stated but I doubt Grimmjow has been with a woman while Rukia has been in his care. I think Aizen wouldn't want Grimmjow laying with a female Arrancar, because Aizen wants to make sure that Ruk and Grimmjow reproduce. But I'm sure Grimmjow found a way to sneak around to have sex with other females. I have to say I'm liking the GrimmRuki pairing more and more because of the forbidin fruit element it has to it. Especially since Grimmjow, before Aizen ordered the Crossbreeding of species, tried to kill Rukia twice, once when he punched his fist threw her stomach (made me have deviant thoughts now that I think about it, Grimmjow sort of "penetrated" her the first time he met her), and then when he tried to cero her head. Really hot scene between Rukia and Grimm, especially the part- "She heard his breath quicken and his hips trust up to meet her. She felt that pressure build as he forcefully, but not painfully, increased the pace. She whimpered a bit and her hands dug into his sides as she steadied herself for the small rush of pleasure that always came right before his hands would grip her hips painfully and in a final thrust up, shudder as he filled her." Nosebleed worthy in my opinion. Scene between Isane and Gin was interesting to read. Gin and his odd interests, it looked like he was making a sundae, but without the ice cream. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love Grimmjow's, Rukia's and Kinomi's interactions with each other especially how Kinomi picks up Grimmjow's nickname for Aizen. I also love Grimm's nickname for her- Pantera-chan. And I love how he is so good at telling stories. Once again this chapter has made me like the GrimmRuki pairing more and more, though I know in this fic, it seems to be platonic and not romantic. I love how he first introduces Kinomi to his Zanpakuto. Grimmjow is so awesome taking care of Kinomi while Rukia is sick. If that were to happen to Rangiku, I doubt Barragan would be considerate enough to watch over Reina while Ran is sick. It is a good thing Ran has Ggio by her side. I love how you write Grimmjow, I like how Pantera recognizes that she is not her father, and is smart enough to call him "otousan" in front of Aizen, while she calls him Otooji while they are alone. I'm also glad that Grimmjow doesn't bad mouth Ichigo, when he tells her stories of his and Ichigo's fights. Now I see why Aizen called a dinner, though I have to say I'm not surprised. I'm actually looking forward to the next chapter, Grimm and Rukia being intimate was something I had been wanting to see. I love the scene with Unohana and Stark at the end of the chapter- "Chuckling softly she joined him, not resisting as she suddenly found herself spooned against him. It was a position he had adopted during her pregnancy and had kept ever since then. She wondered if he even realized he did it in his sleep." the kids are quite cute, my favorites Kinomi, Taka, and Galgo. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love the description of Rukia's kimono- "hers was dark blue with white flowers carved from ice. Unohana figured it was either custom made here or brought back from the real world before the realm had been locked down. Judging by the time line it was probably the first and most likely as a show of rebellion against Aizen rather then because he was being nice and it looked good on her." I wonder who Grimmjow went to get get her a custom made kimono. I like the idea of Grimmjow getting her the kimono as a "show of rebellion against Aizen" but I'm also hoping Grimmjow picked out the color (dark blue, reminds me of Rukia's eyes) and added the white ice flowers, to pay homage to Rukia's Zanpakuto. I'm sure he recognizes that though Rukia is not as powerful as say Unohana in terms of the amount of reiatsu she has, but I think he recognizes Rukia is quite strong herself, for example in the manga, when she ends up using one of her dances to freeze Grimmjow, while she tries to take out the sword Grimmjow put through his hands. I'm glad Aizen isn't planning on taking away the children from their mothers, smart move on his part, since both Stark and Grimmjow would not allow Unohana and Rukia to be separated from their children. I love the comment about Grimmjow- "They had all been shocked when Rukia had admitted to them Grimmjow planned on raising Ichigo's child. To teach it how to fight and grow strong and so help him Aizen would not get near it." I really love Grimmjow in this fic, and I can't help but want Rukia and Grimmjow to get closer. I love how Grimmjow let's Rukia use his lap as a pillow while she is in labor, and I love how he tears up his shirt to use to wipe her forehead. Her labor was long, fourteen hours, poor thing. The fact that Grimmjow was there by her side tending to her pulled my heart strings and now thanks to that I have a favorite crack pairing (GrimmRuki). I like how Grimmjow ignores Aizen when he comes over- "Grimmjow ignored him, his focus still on wiping Rukia's brow down with cool water to bring down her temperature." I loved Grimmjow's interactions with the baby. I can actually see him saying something like that to Ichigo's newborn. I love the image you painted of Rukia waking up to the scene of Grimmjow trying to calm down the crying baby and awkwardly rocking Kinomi. I also love how he just stares at the scene of a mother feeding her child, which to me is a very tender and natural scene. I love the name Kinomi. I was figuring out how Rukia and Grimmjow would work out the name of the child without raising Aizen's suspicions. I love that Grimmjow allowed her to name Kinomi after Panter, his Zanpakuto. I can't wait to see Ichigo's reaction to Rukia allowing Grimmjow to name their child after Grimmjow's Zanpakuto. I almost forgot, I love Byakuya holding his niece. He would make such a good uncle. I wonder if Tia will allow him to have a part on their child's life. Kinomi, Galgo, and Taka are so cute, especially Galgo, who takes after his father, especially in sleeping. Poor Toshiro, he had to capture his childhood friend. I'm glad the sight of the children seemed to lighten his heart at least a little. I love Matsumoto's question-" How does it feel not to be the smallest one around anymore, Toshiro?" Really awesome chapter, I love how you gave the translation of the names, it fits the children, based on who their parents are. I'm glad Galgo doesn't seem to have hollow reiatsu, it takes off suspicion from Kinomi, though her eyes would be a dead give away to who her father is. I'm sure Aizen suspects something, but does not do anything about it since he seems to sadistic enough to enjoy the thought of having Ichigo's child in Hueco Mundo. I'm also sure he wouldn't do anything to make Grimmjow upset. He can't risk losing one of his powerful Espada. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Mood swings hit Rukia hard. She could go from normal to enraged in three seconds flat. Fortunately her rages didn't seem to phase Grimmjow at all. In fact he seemed to enjoy them, tossing her Zenpakto to her and letting her go at him with full abandon until she wore herself out and turned into a sopping, crying mess. He would make a retreat then and retrieve Hanataro or Isane to get her to bed." I'm an IchiRuki fangirl, but you writing has me liking GrimmRuki more and more. I like how he is taking care of her and not being phased by her mood swings. If she was under a different master such as Barragan or Nnoitra (if he was still alive), I'm sure they wouldn't be happy with her at all, and would have done something to her. The "romantic dinner" Lilinette and Hanataro set up for Unohana and Stark was sweet. And I love how Stark tells her he won't let Aizen harm her or their child. I like how the two ask about each others life, it was like a first date. I'm glad Stark wasn't going to say anything about Who the father of Rukia's baby is. I love how he had picked up that she was happy and that Grimmjow's reiatsu wasn't anywhere near her on the night of the test. I loved the scene with Rukia and Grimmjow, especially Rukia's thought of how now she didn't see him as an enemy, and how before she would try to kill him given the chance, but now she wouldn't. I think it shows that bonds are being made not just between Unohana/Stark, and Lilinette/Hanataro, but also Grimmjow and Rukia. I like how Grimmjow was going to do Rukia a favor of letting Ichigo know that he was going to be a father. He didn't have to do it, even with the incentive of getting a fight out of Ichigo. But I think it shows that Grimmjow is starting to care for Rukia, just like she is starting to see him as a friend/brother. I wonder if the reason Aizen set up a barrier was to keep intruders out, or if he is starting to suspect that his Espada are getting close to the prisoners, and would perhaps help them escape. Sure Aizen was manipulating the Espada to start spending time, such as having dinner with their respective prisoners, hoping that "relationships would form." But I think he knows that Ichigo and company might try to invade Hueco Mundo, but at the same time AiEn is being cautious with his Espada, because if they did start relationships with their prisoners, what's to stop his Espada from being more loyal to the parent of the children and not him. I'm also wondering if he is suspicious of Grimmjow taking Rukia to the human world. But I doubt it, because he would have surely punished Grimmjow and Rukia, if Aizen even suspected a little. I'm glad Rukia thanked Grimmjow for trying. It shows she respects him, and is grateful to him for the effort he made. I'm also glad he took off her collar. It must have been quite a shock to Rukia to hear Grimmjow saying he would train her child, just so he could have a chance to fight her and Ichigo's child if he couldn't fight Ichigo. Though I'm an Ichiruki fan, I'm quite curious about the idea of Grimmjow and Rukia having a baby and I understand Rukia's reaction to her thoughts of her next baby being Grimmjow's- "If they were trapped here forever, then the next child she would be forced to bear would belong to Grimmjow. The part that scared her the most was that it didn't bother her as much as it use to." Stockholm Syndrome comes to mind when I read that part about Rukia not being bothered by the thought of her next child being Grimmjow's.. You write the emotions the characters are feeling in response to the situation they are being put through, very realistically. You have an amazing talent for writing. Poor Matsumoto not only does she have to service Barragan but also his fraccione. I'm glad at least Ggio treats her gently when he is with her, and I love the par of him purring- " She was also amused to discover he apparently purred when pleased and she would often drift off to the warmth of his body pressed against hers and the sound of his soft purring." I never thought of the Rangiku/Ggio pairing, but now that you have shown hints of his kindness to her, I have to say I like the pairing now. I'm very glad he talked to Hanataro about what food a pregnant woman should eat, since Barragan shows no concern for the mother of his child. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Grimmjow's characterization is spot-on and I LOVE IT. Also Byakuya's little statement after hearing about Rukia and Ichigo. I loved that. ... I don't like your Aizen, though. Your Aizens are always motherfeckers. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Toshiro is quite strong to last four weeks of torture from Aizen. Poor kid. I feel like I'm going to have to go to aff, to read the full story. At least now Toshiro was able to see Matsumoto and the others. Tender scene when Matsumoto hugged her captain. It shows how much Matsumoto cares for her captain, finally giving in to Barragan and obeying his orders for the first time, just so that Toshiro won't see her blood, or walking stiffly. I love the scene between Stark and Unohana, and how Stark told her that Lilinette asked him to keep Unohana with him. The scene where Rukia tells Grimmjow she is late was really funny. I like how he asks her "Late for what woman?". Another scene where Grimmjow reminds me of Ichigo. Grimmjow can sometimes be dense like Ichigo as well, but Grimmjow has an excuse of not knowing what Rukia is talking about since he is an Arrancar who doesn't know about the monthly cycles of women. I like how when Grimmjow dropped off Rukia- "Grimmjow didn't leave this time, instead he leaned against a wall with his arms crossed and ordered Unohana to 'check her.'" He didn't have to stay and order Unohana to check on her, he could have left and Rukia could have asked Unohana herself, but I think since Rukia is under the care of Grimmjow, Grimmjow does feel the need to protect her and be aware of her health as well as anything else involved with Rukia. Also I'm curious as to why it is stated "As was becoming usual they were the last to arrive." Would that mean that Rukia and Grimmjow are enjoying each other's company, not in the romantic sense, but in a friendship/companionship sense? I would think that Grimmjow would be trying to drop off Rukia as early as possible, he would be the first one to drop her off, so Rukia would be early not late when being dropped off. I love Grimmjow's reaction when finding out she is pregnant- " He smirked in triumph before laughing hysterically. "This is too rich. Ichigo, you really are something."His laughter could be heard continuing most of the way down the hallway as he left until he was too far away for the sound to filter through the walls." I thought Stark was something getting Unohana pregnant. But now I say Ichigo has him beat, it only took one time, and Rukia ended up getting pregnant with that one time. I love Byakuya in this chapter (he has always been one of my favorites in the manga, alongside Ichigo, Rukia, Grimmjow, Stark and Ichigo's hollow), and I love how you wrote him in here comforting his sister "He pulled her into his embrace and held her, murmuring how it wasn't her fault and they would deal with the ramifications later. She was stiff at first, but slowly relaxed in his arms." He is the best big brother ever. I like how Rukia would know that Grimmjow wouldn't be happy being the fourth because it used to belong to Ulquiorra- "Not really." Rukia answered before Lilinette could. "It reminds him too much of Ulquiorra." She had never met the former 4th, but had heard about him from Ichigo and learned a lot about him from Grimmjow during his cursing. Come to think of it she had learned a lot of things from his cursing." I love that part, she is getting to know Grimmjow more and more, even though its from his cursing. Really well written and interesting chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rukia's line of "Why does everyone feel the need to throw me?", had me laughing. It reminded me very much of when Ichigo rescued her from execution and threw her to Renji, as well as the time when Chad threw her so she could attack the hollow, when Chad and her were fighting against the hollow that was using the boy/bird to lure in shinigami for him to devour. It is so like Ichigo to drop Rukia without realizing that her reiatsu is sealed. Very honorable of Grimmjow to have brought Rukia to Ichigo so she could lose her virginity to him. I love how Ichigo doesn't want her to go back, but I'm glad Rukia explained things to him. It would be worse on the rest who are imprisoned if Rukia does not return and Grimmjow would also be severely punished if Aizen were to find out what Grimmjow did. Rukia wouldn't repay Grimmjow's good behavior towards her while she is under her care by allowing him to get punished for doing something for her and Ichigo's benefit. It is so like Ichigo to not realize why Grimmjow brought Rukia to him, I love the line- "Sometime he could be so innocently, cutely and annoyingly dense." fits Ichigo pretty well in my opinion. I was so happy that you included an IchiRuki moment in this chapter. You really write the two well together, and you keep them very much in character in my opinion. The scene with the two is very realistic and was very well written. I love the line "They rested in silence, he was holding her tightly, as if afraid to let go." very heartwarming and tender, as an IchiRuki fangirl thank you for writing such a tender scene between the two. I also love the kiss she gives him, putting in all the emotions she has for him into her kiss. I love how Rukia climbs on Grimmjow's back. Like in my previous reviews, Grimmjow reminds me alot of Ichigo. And when she climbed on his back, I was reminded of that again. I'm glad Ichigo thanked Grimmjow for what he did for Rukia and himself. If they weren't enemies, I can see the two being close as brothers/best friends. I keep forgetting that even though Stark seems to be bored or asleep he can be quite observant. He noticed that Rukia was in high spirits. Though he seems lazy, I have to remind myself that there is a reason he is the Primera Espada. I like the conversation between Retsu and Stark as they are playing chess. The two are getting to know each other little by little, and Unohana is seeing more of who Stark is. It is not surprising to see that Unohana was the first to get pregnant. Stark being the Primera Espada (he has a large amount of reiatsu) as well as following Aizen's orders by having intercourse with Unohana everynight, would indeed to lead to a pregnancy. Poor Rukia, she was worried about Byakuya's reaction to finding out she and Ichigo were intimate. I'm glad he was understanding, especially since he was aware that perhaps it was better she lost her virginity to someone she loved rather than Grimmjow. I love his response of "You will marry him when we are free of this place." I like how his response left Rukia shocked (I bet she never thought he would give her permission to marry someone who was not a noble but rather a substitute shinigami who does not address him with the proper honorific), and I'm glad his response allowed Matsumoto to forget the horrific situation- "Matsumoto actually had a bit of a delighted light in her eyes they hadn't seen in two weeks.". I'm also glad you showed Byakuya being positive of Ichigo, knowing how much Ichigo cares for Rukia- "No doubt he will come for her." once again thank you for showing IchiRuki in this chapter. After reading the conversation between Stark and Lilinette, I have to agree with Unohana, Stark would make an awesome father. I'm glad he made the promise to protect both mother and child. Im also glad that Lilinette is looking up to Unohana. I always felt bad for Stark and Lilinette in the manga. Stark was lonely for the longest time, not allowing him to have any companions because the amount of his power didn't allow anyone to come close to him. Then he had to split himself, and that was how Lilinette came to be. I can understand why in the manga, Stark took up Aizen's offer. I like the idea of Stark and Unohana being a family, especially since Soul Society won't be coming to the rescue any time soon, and it will take a while for Ichigo to figure out a way to come rescue Rukia and the rest of the prisoners. I really enjoyed reading this chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aizen really is a manipulative s.o.b. making Isane look like Momo, in order to break Toshiro and bend him to his will. Reminds me a bit of the manga, when Aizen uses his Zanpakuto to make Momo look like him, and Toshiro stabbed his childhood friend not knowing it was Momo and not Aizen. Aizen really knows how to make people bend to his will, I guess that's what makes him such a good villain (I know that that's a oxymoron, I just don't know how to explain it better.). I'm glad to see Hanataro and Lilinette getting along fine. I'm sure Lilinette is happy to have someone to talk to/boss around other than Stark who sleeps all day. I'm also happy that Unohana was able to talk to Stark about talking to Aizen about the treatment Byakuya and Matsumoto are suffering from at the hands of their owners. Like I the previous chapters, all characters are in characters. I'm glad that Halibel hasn't beat Byakuya like she did on the first night. He has enough to deal with because of the drug she gives him and forcing herself on him. I wonder what Grimmjow has planned with Rukia. I almost skipped the review for this chapter and was going to read the next chaoter but I felt the need to review. I'm glad Grimmjow kept his word about not forcing himself on Rukia, and I love the way you write Rukia, how she is willing to answer any questions Grimmjow has, and hasn't been giving him any trouble. Like her older brother, I have always felt that Rukia is quite smart, she knows how to use her brain, and knows when the odds aren't in her favor. Like it was stated in this chapter- "as patient as Grimmjow appeared to be, despite his rough attitude, it was a very thin patience.". Grimmjow seems to have gotten to know Rukia in the weeks that they have shared a room together if he can tell that something is wrong with her. I'm glad that Rukia opened up and told him what was worrying her. I also love how Grimmjow takes off her collar and allows her to wield Sode No Shirayuki, even if it is for a little while. I love the sentence "She was going to be sore in the morning as she followed him to a near by training field and took her stance against him, trying to remember how it was Ichigo fought." it will be a different sore, than what Aizen would expect her to be since he thinks Grimmjow is following his orders. Grimmjow and Rukia training/sparing together is really nice to see. |
![]() ![]() ![]() At least Aizen allowed Isane to heal Toshiro, though I know he wasn't doing it out of the goodness of his heart, since he has plans for Toshiro to be used as a stud like Byakuya. Stark and Unohana make a cute couple. Usually I see her being paired with Ukitake, but I think I like her being paired with Stark. Rukia seems to be the only one who didn't have to sleep with the person she was given to. She is my favorite character so I'm quite happy she was spared from Matsumoto's fate. I feel kind of bad for Grimmjow, everyone also suspects the worst of him, which is shown when Unohana thinks to herself- "Out of the four Espada she had been introduced to yesterday she figured Grimmjow would have been the most violent with his assigned target, not the only one to have spared it." Just goes to show how awesome Grimmjow is, he goes against everyone else's expectations. Unohana's comparison of him to Kenpachi and his division is quite fitting. I can see Grimmjow getting along with the members of the 11th division. Poor Matsumoto, makes me shudder to think what Barragan made her to through. I'm glad Stark took off Retsu's collar so she could heal Matsumoto and Byakuya. I believe you captured Matsumoto's emotions of what was done to her after her rape quite realistically. This chapter was well written, and I love how you included some IchiRuki in this chapter- "Orders or not Ichigo would find a way to come after Rukia, and with him the rest of the Ryoka." I think that was my favorite line from this chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The first sentence really captures Byakuya in my opinion- "If it was one thing Byakuya had an abundance of, it was pride." Byakuya is not one to allow anyone to try to make him do something he does not want to do. I understand perfectly why Halibel has to act the way she acts to try to break him and make him bend to Aizen's will. I'm also glad to see his brotherly concern for Rukia in this chapter, and I understand why he didn't try to go after her. Byakuya isn't dumb nor impulsive and though he care much for his sister's well being, he knows that he is powerless at the moment. Halibel is also very loyal to Aizen in the manga, so even though she may not want to sleep with Byakuya, Halibel will do it none the less. I kind of feel for Halibel, she is the only female in the Espada so she has a harder time trying to make Byakuya (who is someone who does not bend to other's will easily) sleep with her. She also seemed to show concern for her fraccione in the manga, so I can see her being upset with their deaths. Poor Byakuya, having to take all her grief inflicted blows. But if anyone who can take the fierce blows she gives it's Byakuya. I have come to respect him more and like him more for what he has had to endure when she is beating the crap out of him. Though I wish he would defend himself, I know his reiatsu is sealed, and if he were to respond with his own blows to her, Aizen as well as Halibel will certainly punish him even worse, and may also punish Rukia for his behavior. Also I don't see Byakuya as someone who would raise his hand to a woman (Yoruichi not included). He seems to much like a gentleman. I know Byakuya could take the beatings, what made me cringe a bit was when she cut his hair. He has such lovely hair, I felt for him when he saw his hair and face in the mirror- "He looked like some sort of dirty street urchin instead of the head of a high ranking clan." I wonder if the drugs that Tosen gave Halibel to use on Byakuya were made by Szayel. I understand Halibel, Aizen being as powerful as he is, no one would want to defy him. Both Byakuya and Halibel in my opinion are very in character in this chapter. I feel for Matsumoto getting stuck with Barragan. I never liked Barragan in the manga, the guy was disgusting/creepy. Poor Matsumoto having to deal with someone as ugly and old as him. I was looking forward to the Grimmjow and Rukia scene. I was hoping he would claim her like Halibel thought he would when she was thinking about how much easier it was for the male Espada to complete Aizen's mission- "The others had it lucky, they just needed to knock up their respective targets, maybe even have some fun and enjoy doing it. No doubt Grimmjow would be having a blast hurting the little Shinigami brat that was tied to the boy he seemed to have a vendetta against." But I'm glad you had Grimmjow act honorable in this fic, repaying Ichigo for sparing his life and defending him from Nnoitra by choosing Rukia that way none of the Espada would be able to choose her and rape her. I can see him doing something like this, because to me in the manga, I always figured that Grimmjow (and Stark) weren't evil like the Aizen and the rest of Espada. The two to me seemed to have a set of codes they respected, such as when Grimmjow had Inoue heal Ichigo's wounds before he healed them. I really do hope that Rukia and Grimmjow get closer in the fic. I can see the two getting along. Poor Toshiro, even Grimmjow realizes that what Toshiro is being put through is torture. Well-written and interesting chapter. I wonder why Grimmjow was grumbling when he passed her and why Rukia wasn't with him. I would think he would have had his hands a bit full with Rukia- "To her surprise, they paused to let a grumbling Grimmjow pace past them. He showed no sign of noticing them and she made no attempt to alert him to their presence." |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really interesting and unique plot, but you probably hear that from all your readers. I really like how you had Aizen capture his fair share of hostages and had them living in Hueco Mundo with his Espada. I love Aizen in the manga as a villain. Not only is he a brilliant mastermind who is intelligent and manipulative but he is also quite sadistic which makes him attractive in my opinion. Your idea of having him crossbreed his Arrancar with the shinigami he has captured is quite brilliant, and I can see him wanting to make an army full of strong hybrids. I can see Rukia, Grimmjow and Matsumoto being the most outspoken against Aizen's plans- "Then the shouting began on an all new level, most of it coming from Rukia, Matsumoto and Grimmjow." Rukia in the manga is not one to back down from something she doesn't like (I think Ichigo is rubbing off on her), Matsumoto is someone else who is usually quite loud about something that goes against something she wants, and Grimmjow is someone who I have always seen as not following Aizen's orders since I really do believe Grimmjow hates Aizen in the manga. Byakuya is someone who never matter what the situation will never raise his voice. Unohana couldn't really object vocally, since she was concentrating on healing Hitsugaya's injuries. Hanataro is to timid and I really don't see him yelling at Aizen. Stark was the smartest one, picking Unohana since he could see she would be the be who was most likely the one who would give him the less trouble. And I must say I got quite excited when Grimmjow picked Rukia. Though IchiRuki is my OTP, I really like the idea of Grimmjow claiming Rukia. I don't know why, but I always thought that Grimmjow and Ichigo were alot alike, except Grimmjow seems to be more outspoken of his love for fighting, as well as showing his dominance. I really like how you wrote how he took her out of the room- "Hardly even waiting for the word of agreement to finish coming from Aizen's mouth, the 6th Espada grabbed her and left, dragging her kicking and screaming behind him without any difficulty." if she can handle Ichigo, she can handle Grimmjow who is like a rougher, more dominant version of Grimmjow. Halibel and Byakuya I have to say is a pairing I hadn't thought of before, but they are both attractive individuals so I have to say I wonder what you have in store for them. Byakuya though he doesn't show any outward concern for his situation, does care for what happens to his sister- "Unlike his younger, adopted sister, he didn't make a scene or waste breath in arguing. She did catch him glancing down the hall his sister had disappeared down, but otherwise showed no other outwards sign of worry." He is such a good brother who cares for his sister alot. Lilinette also got her Hanataro. I like her little nickname she has for him. The scene with Unohana and Stark was very well written, and I have a new pairing I like. I'm glad I came across this fic, and I'm glad that it is completed, that way I don't have to wait for update, and I can go to the next chapter. I really look forward to chapter two, but after reading this first chapter I thought I would review and tell you how much I enjoyed reading this chapter. Now I'm off to chapter two. |
