| Ona Ralgold chapter 6 . 12/17/2009
I cried. I cried like a little b*tch. That was honestly the best worst thing I have ever read. I couldn't see the page half the time through the blur of tears. This is why I don't read tragedy by authors I know are legit. Brilliant, poignant, tragic, great.
Lyrics from a song: "The choice was mine and mine completely. I could have any prize that I desired: I could burn with the splendor of the brightest fire, or else-or else I could choose time."
Merlin burned oh so brightly. Capital work.

It's even sadder, I think, that Hunith wasn't able to come to her son's viewing.
| BlaiddDrwg Project chapter 6 . 12/11/2009
Wow this one is even better than "clumsy" (which was excellent). I tried, really i did, but i ended up crying.
You wrote it beautifully.

WOW! Just read this from start to finish. It was difficult to read with tears popping out of my eyes every few seconds, very nicely done!
| daily-chan chapter 6 . 11/14/2009
so sad, so heartbreaking this story is. you wrote a masterpiece, even if it made me cry so badly.
the part after merlin died is one of the most beautiful pieces i've read in a long time.
i can imagine arthur doing all that for merlin because its uthur comes over as a possibility, he's into his character even if he behaves unlike himself, for your child you'd do anything.
| Anna chapter 6 . 11/14/2009
God! You broke my heart, you have no right! I'm crying now... "Arthur realized he loved his silly, clumsy, wonderful friend. So much.
And it hurt."
That was beautiful. Thank you for this story, keep up the good work!
| gassada chapter 6 . 11/13/2009

Greatly written and you portrayed the emotion really well,
| Wileret chapter 6 . 11/10/2009
Well, at least he kept on living and became the king that Merlin always wanted him to be.
It was sad that Merlin's mother wasn't at the pyre, the poor woman had to known about his dead only son too late.

| Isis the Sphinx chapter 6 . 11/9/2009
Here I am at the very end, hoping you've made it a happy ending. Some sort of miraculous ressurection.
Yes. Me sad. You killed Merlin! Again!
Kill Arthur next time, please?
Yes, this was really good. you do internal characterization well and setting description perfectly.
