I really liked this one. Your decision to alternate paragraphs of description with Napoleon's exclamations of increasing desperation was exciting and effective. Nicely done.

Technology has keep one step ahead of death. The homing device giving a clue of there to look for the stricken agent. Somehow, it seems little comfort to Napoleon fighting to regain his equilibrium after finding Illya the same as dead and still clinking to that ghastly pose.
