A waste of a chapter, when all it is a recap of the entire first part. If you could write the entire first part in one chapter why didn't. You could have written something new, but instead you did what amounts to the written version of a tv clipshow. Don't get me wrong I love to read your story and hope you keep writing because its really good and it's not the same old thing one reads all the time on this site. But this chapter was a disappointment in that it is like when one is looking forward to something new thats been hyped up and all one get is a tease.

Yay! The first chap is up, and the stage is set... So we can finally find out what happens at hogwarts :)

Just a quick question: Is this story going to cover all of Harry's hogwarts years, or is it just going to be his first?

I had thought that Clarice had been in Ravenclaw but this makes it so much more plausable that they whould not have met. Well thought out rather then tell someone to read part one.

I'm happy that you started "the gathering storm" so soon, a little deluded that the chapter is a backstory but asking someone to read the other story before look at the first chapter is not a good idea.

My compliments, a very good summary of the first story. Methinks Albus is going to be more than a little taken aback by the Harry he gets this time, perhaps even moreso because he won't be able to detect that fragment of Tom in him anymore. I'm most definitely looking forward to this new story as the new elements introduced into the situation start to make themselves felt in the magical world; I suspect the three factions of the Ministry & minions, Dumbledore and his minions, and Tom and his Pureblood minions are going to be taken aback by the changed situation they'll be dealing with.
