Thank you for writing this. I like how Luna ends up viewing Tom as a friend, as it seems to vindicate the choice of Luna here, as I can much more easily see this happening with Luna than many of the main cast.

Britain's wizarding society is a horrific mess. What can Luna do but support her son's determination to change things.

this is great. poignant, subtle but also powerful. like the fic, the sum of its parts, tom and luna would be willing to trudge a dark road for a chance at a normal life. and truly, i will always side with the downtrodden and and weak—the people who will fight for what is right and not what is easy. if he needs to be a dark lord, then so be it
