Reviews for Doubting Thomas |

EndlessHax chapter 1 . 6/12/2020 this is actually wonderful, entirely in character and yet so different to the original. I would love to read about this group coming into contact with others from the previous time, just to see the contrast from a clearer view |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/27/2020 Good story. |
QuestWithAmbition chapter 1 . 5/28/2020 Oh my gosh. What a wonderful read. Thank you for sharing! |
Quacked Lurker chapter 1 . 4/19/2020 Huh. Yeah - Tom Riddle and Harry Potter had very similiar backgrounds and upbringings - so when given the chance (Harry's last sacrifice), Luna does her best to change it all. Love how Riddle IS the hero for downtrodden and abused. Oh, he's still bucking the system - but FOR the muggleborn and not against everyone who laughed at him. Luna riddle ... in any other context it would not work n early as well - but as the mother for a child who is destined to lead a revolution, yeah it fits. |
Perhentian chapter 1 . 2/4/2020 This is great! |
gginsc chapter 1 . 12/29/2019 I love this! It is so intense, so beautiful! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/9/2019 Amazing, thank you! |
Alibi Nonsense chapter 1 . 10/26/2019 I love how dark this is; how bitter and jaded and sinking from such a place of hope to a place of desparate hope. I love it. The 'favourite cocoa' bit is my favourite little detail. |
Corwyn chapter 1 . 10/5/2019 Wow. Haunting. Thanks for sharing this story with us. |
Silriel chapter 1 . 9/17/2019 Lovely! Thank you so much for writing this. |
Burnehn chapter 1 . 9/2/2019 Holy hell, this is intense. The prejudice, the injustice, the flow from bad to end times to worse, then up to a point in time that's like drinking tea at the top of rusting tower and watching the world below you go to shit until, finally, the tower is breaking and your falling and the story ends just in time to say that, yes, the ground is inevitable. And now we're left wondering if she becomes a part of the chaos (sucked down under it's surface like rain beneath waves, a breeze within a tornado) or if the chaos breaks beneath the shadow cast by the tower that's bearing down in her wake Like, not potato, man. Idk what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. like woah... Imma just favourite this now |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/12/2019 Gosh, this was so powerful...beautiful, simply beautiful... |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/16/2019 Utterly beautiful |
bleeb90 chapter 1 . 6/3/2019 Beautiful! |
TekoloKuautli chapter 1 . 5/14/2019 This made me tear up. Luna is more than just intelligent, she is wise. Wise enough to make the right choices, the ones she'll never regret. Part of that makes this a lot less indecisive when in other time-travel stories the protagonists agonize over every single action. Luna doesn't. She has chosen a path and will not stray. She decided to love a baby as her own son and fight for a better future. She's sad and afraid but never once looks away, even when she decides to look at her own doubts within herself. Absolutely beautiful. |
