I'm French and a real French girl from Paris so I have to compliment you for your description of the Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame. That was very beautiful and accurate. Anyway, I just discovered your story so I'm sorry I was not on time to respond to your need for a "francophone". I would have be so excited to receive a totally new and unpublished chapter ! I saw your little note at the end of the 11th chapter, saying that we could correct your mistakes and I don't know if someone already did (I didn't took the time to read ALL the reviews - 639, that's a lot), but there : If by 'Double Entendre" you meant double meaning, then you should use "Double Sens" because "Double Entendre" has no meaning in French and it's incorrect grammar. It's LE coude, LE poignet, LE nombril et LE cou. Don't worry, those are not important mistakes. In France, we all know that gender is a difficult thing to learn and understand for foreigners. I don't think the word "nichon" is appropriate to describe Bella's breasts. Even if it's not a rude word, it's a very, very familiar one and mostly used by men who sees women as objects. So that's why I thought it didn't fit for Edward. Nipples is translated by "le téton" and not by "le bout DU sein" We don't really use "la minette" but rather "le minou", even if those are very childish words. I would simply suggest "le sexe". And we write "Bite" with only one T. But I must tell you that it's a very rude word. You can use "le pénis" which is more suitable. I hope that I won't look to bossy or tiresome with all my rectifications. So now it's your turn for forgive me for my mistakes in English ! |
