![]() ![]() ![]() Magnificent work! Loved every page |
![]() ![]() ![]() Giving up at chpt. 25. Harry is not a compelling character. He is weaker than he should be, he has no notable feats of magic so far in the story. He starts of incredibly passive, and then makes moronic decisions and survives mostly through luck. He has no personal accomplishments, most of the gains made were achieved by Orion, Cygnus and Romulus. 4th year Marauders have shown more magical finesse than Harry. The decision to delay getting a wand at every turn nearly made me drop the story earlier. Positives: Most side characters are well done, the Death eaters have recieved little development, but Orion, Cygnus, Romulus, Dumbledore, even the Marauders, Snape and Lily are reasonably well done. The weakest side character is Lily due to the forced familiarity. She is also too similar to Hermoine. |
![]() ![]() ![]() No offense, but both Harry and Belatrix come across as morons here. They adapt to the situation well enough, but getting into it was not the brightest idea. Example, Harry delaying getting a proper wand, even if he didn't use Olivander, he could have asked for a reputable wandmaker. Harry not training or testing Bella's mind protections despite EASILY getting through them in the prologue. |
![]() ![]() ![]() still love this story. had to read it again because it is that good. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Overall plot wise this is one of the best fics I've ever read, I completely adore this and enjoyed every second, including some late nights where I stayed up way too late because I just had to see what happens next. Romance wise I would have personally liked a little more emotional delving, but what was there was excellent and felt very in character. Actually every single character fit their role and personality quite well, character moments were wonderful. Along the same idea of emotional delving I'd have liked more of an epilogue that made a bigger deal of the reveal to Harry's family, and of Harry and Bella talking about and affirming their relationship but it's fine, I'm aware that how I personally enjoy stories is often at a pace slow enough that others complain that the plot does not move fast enough for them, but the character moments are what I live for in stories, and I know everyone is not the same. All in all a story I highly recommend, it's beyond enjoyable, and the author's direction feels good all throughout. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent story ! I never thought a Harry Bellatrix story would be this much perfect ! It doesnt have cheesy romance or uncharacteristic bellatrix ! Harry Potter is powerful but not in a overpowered way! Fight scenes greatly described and dialogues are nice ! Good humor and author has great knowledge about wizarding world which is great ! Simply It's perfect ! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for writing this masterpiece of a fanfiction! All around captivating plot and I loved the witty and sarcastic humor that made me laugh numerous times. Having Bellatrix set up shop right next to the Dursleys was brilliant. I also really enjoyed seeing the senior Blacks and Malfoy as being rational people instead of having all purebloods from „darker“ families be fanatical idiots as is the case in many other stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Alright I’m tired of this. He’s being an idiot. An absolute moron. HE DOES NOT HAVE TO CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE SO SHARE DAMN IT! |
![]() ![]() This story is odd. I have issues with a wishy washy Harry, but also why keep everything to himself. He knows the future so use the help being offered instead of doing a Dumbledore and telling anyone the truth. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah if Diagon alley actually got hit by a bomb, then there's no way in the seven h*lls that wizardkind wouldn't pool their collective minds and solve the problem. Magic only stagnates when people are content and not threatened. They'd come up with some sort of anti-gunpowder/anti-explosives wards that would render the chemical reactions involved inert when in wizarding areas. Not saying that I disagree with a lot of the other stuff said in this chapter, but I find it hard to believe wizards would just... accept being weaker than muggles without, you know, actually doing something to solve the problem. |
![]() ![]() ![]() In Harry's position, I'd divorce the bitch SO hard for this (assuming he eventually finds out). Way, way past not appropriate. |
![]() ![]() ![]() lol, the ferret again! omg, you got me good there. bwahaha! And, miracles occur, Harry wasn't a *complete* idiot (although not thinking thru the wards being bypassed MULTIPLE TIMES is classic idiot-Harry). |
![]() ![]() ![]() ok, the "ferret's uncle" line got me good. Pretty sure the neighbors heard me laughing :o And, apparently, and unsupervised Bella is just chaos unleashed. Then again, a little mayhem is prolly something the Dursleys have earned, arguably, if not in this timeline. |
![]() ![]() ![]() fun bit. I hope he kicks some serious DE butt! and prewitt is being an idiot; it's pretty clear to anyone paying attention that Harry & Bela have been staunchly anti voldie longer than anyone (and, arguably, more effectively). |
