I love this already. I did a little dance when I found this in my inobx. And, here I thought I'd be checking lame e-mail... :)
I love Alice and Jasper and I'm super excited you're writing about them.
Please update soon!

Wow! This was a total surprise! I thought ToG was going to be a continuation of ToV... But, what a wonderful surprise! I loved it! Can't wait for more! And like always, you have such a way with words... I think that I would read anything you would write... :)

Wow, so interesting. I figured that Tropic of Gemini would just be an Edward/Bella sequel, but you've changed the POVs.
Hopefully, this story will get the same attention as the other one even with the Jasper/Alice main pairing.

22. I'm marrying him in 26 days and wishing we hadn't waited so long.
I was so excited to see that this was up! I love it already. I'm assuming it's starting pre-TOV?
Can't wait to see where this leads!
| bookjunkie1975 chapter 1 . 11/15/2009
"I felt stupid and young; I didn’t even know what size to buy. Was I regular, large or extra large? I’d like to think I was at least large, but what if it slid off? If I bought a size too small, it might break, right? Should I buy one box of each, and try them on for fit? What if the regular was too big? What if I really had a small dick?"
This is where I started laughing out loud. I love your boys...you write them so well and they're such distinctive flavours! I have to say I'm beyond excited about this story. Yay! (claps hands much to giddily for a woman old enough to behave with at least a semblance of decorum)
I was 19 and let's just say Alice's experience was pretty damn familiar but we're still together 15 years later;)

Everything about this is amazing. I'll admit that when I first opened the link I was a little disappointed that it wasn't Edward/Bella, but I'm sorry for that because this was so much more than I thought it was going to be. It's funny how we can go through the whole of Virgo and feel like we know the whole story but then you come out with this prequel of sorts and it just opens up a whole different world. I loved that Alice knows what's going to happen - I know that so many authors have a psychic Alice but the way you wrote it made it seem so possible, it was so casual and real (perfection with Jasper's wedding footwear). I loved Edward's raw anger, that there was so much more behind it and that Jasper understood he just needed to feel it. I can't wait to see where you take this, whether it's more of the back story or set after Virgo. I know I'm only one little, inconsequential reader but I promise I'll be there wherever it ends up.
Your words are an entirely different world, thank you.

OMG those salted fish licorice candies from Sweden are rancid. We tried them in Ghana from our Dutch and Danish friends and thought for sure they were playing a practical joke on us. Then they brought out the DOUBLE salted ones. *retching*
I'm so excited for this story! I was just babbling to some friends about how they had to read everything you wrote and then I get ANOTHER story of yours in my inbox. Oh happy day!
"I rubbed my lip where I had bruised it against the harmonica when the box hit my head" That was priceless.
"in the dumb books the gorgeous soldier/lord/vampire never shouts “Oh, shit, hold still!” upon first entry and promptly unloads more spooge than he’s dumped in the last nine months of resolved foreplay combined." and "then slathering them with sticky gunk that I’d never noticed was as caustic as lye with wasabi sauce on top". Hilarious. I love Alice even more.
As always, the characterizations are fabulous and spot on, they're so real they could burst off my computer screen and have a beer with me.
I was an old maid of 20 when I lost it, and while it wasnt that painful, it was equally disappointing and overrated. Alice was right-hype sucks, but it sure gets better after that.
Thanks again for being such a wonderful writer and for sharing your stories with us. It's a delight to read anything of yours and you continually inspire me.

Hooray! My favorite Cullens in the whole fanficdom are back! I love your Jasper beyond words. I love the rest of them, too.
I was 20 at the time of the big event - an old lady, I know. My boyfriend and I were about to leave for different countries for a semester of study abroad. It gave the whole thing a very desperate, intense, angsty, Romeo-and-Juliet kind of aura.

First time...18 yrs old. *sigh*
| MissRe chapter 1 . 11/15/2009
I like Alice and Jasper's beginning. I love that he and Edward fought in the parking lot. It was a way to break that tension between them and Jasper is a good friend for realizing he needed that. Poor Alice! What a sucky birthday! At least Jasper made it good at the end of the day. I was much older than 17... lol Awesome job.

I've never read an Alice/Jasper fic before, but for you I made an exception.
And I'm so glad I did!
Lovely, lovely, awkward, nostalgic, jarring, and sweet. (and sticky) Thank you for writing, it's as beautiful as always.
