wow, dude! that pretty much sums up how i feel about this chapter. don't worry, it's a good wow.

i've watched every naruto episode there is from beginning to end and i have enjoyed them all. these episodes touch a deep part of me that i don't like to let out. meaning, I cry. I cried when Hiruzen Sarutobi died because he died a hero fighting for his beloved village and the people under him. I cried when he sacrificed himself in an attempt to seal his student away in the death demon's belly, but i literally bawled during his funeral when the genin were remembering him as a father figure.

but, I also cried when Jiraiya died. He went down fighting too, just like his Sensei before him. and when Jiraiya died i could only wonder what Naruto was going to do next without his godfather.

reading this chapter made me relive those moments of jiraiya's death. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's the trait of a good author to help their readers imagine or remember events of great emotional strength and you captured that gift successfully. I raise my hand to salute you and you're success. just keep doing what you're doing and i fondly look forward to the moment when i may begin reading the sequal.

thank you for that letter from jiraiya to tsunade. and for the memory of jiraiya being there for tsunade when her brother died. oh, and excellent job with capturing orochimaru's sadistic tendencies.

sorry for that whole spheel but i really wanted to get that out so you could see how much i loved the chapter. keep writting. you have a real gift for it, truly you do.

this is a great chapter. you depicted Juugo very well in his moment of curse mark-induced rage. um, i do have one thing to correct you on. Juugo's friend's name was Kimimaro, not Kinimaru. His name comes from "Kimi" which is an ancient japanese title of nobility, and "Maro" which is Japanese slang for a person with thin or shaved eyebrows.

i'm not criticising but i just wanted to point that out for future references. you're really good at what you do, so keep writing.

okay, i love love love your description of the Byakugan. I've always wondered myself if a pervert might abuse the Byakugan the way Hikari thought. And, of course Neji is too polite and respectful to do that.

oh, and good job with keeping everyone in character. you have a real talent for this. keep on doing what you're doing.

I think the relationship between Sasuke and Hikari kind of shows a soft side of Sasuke he doesn't really like to show. These last few episodes of Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden really have me thinking Sasuke is just another heartless bastard. I like this part of him better. On the other hand, Sasuke is still in character.

Alright, I'll get straight to the point: this story, without a single doubt in my mind, is THE BEST Sasuke/OC I have ever read. Heck, it's one of the OC stories I have ever read. And I have read a lot, trust me.

Everything was done beautifully, the characters were kept well in character especially Sasuke, and I applause you for your amazing talent in succeeding. The story was well balanced and the romance was very believable and true. Not to mention I love all the other small side pairings you had in the story.

Hikari was also a well thought out and beautiful OC that grew over the course of the story. She was weak and gullible in the beginning, but grew to be strong and fierce as she faced the darkness that ninja world offered. I hate those stories that make becoming a ninja look easy and quick, and I like that Hikari worked for months and months to become strong.

I also want to mention your take on Itachi. I have no idea why, but the way you wrote him in the scene where he talked with Hikari, made me fall in love with him all over again. You have a really good way of capturing both Uchiha brothers. And if you ever consider writing another OC story for Naruto fandom, I would love to see Itachi/OC from you. Just a suggestion. (For example I have loads of ideas, but I sometimes have hard time writing them down.)

Also, regarding the ending. I have to say, you have me on pins and needles, it was so sad and just made me hate Madara even more. But, although Hikari is not the same, I know there is still hope. So, right after I finish writing this, I will start reading the sequel.

It only took me a day to finish this, and that's saying something, because not all stories capture my attention so easily. So, overall I'm really glad I found this (accidentally actually) and read it. Beside few typo mistakes this was very well written, so well done on that too.

So, to end this incredibly long review (since I'm talking rubbish now) I want to congratulate you on finishing such an amazing story, and it's defiantly going into my favorites. Hope to see more work from you soon!
