You are a pretty good writer, except that you need to break up the huge blocks of text. It was difficult to read. Also, you changed characters a couple of times and gave us the same repeated info, just from their perspectives. It wasn't necessary. Just stay with the 3rd person narrative and get on with the story.

I know, it's 4 years too late for that advice. Maybe you'll come back in a few more years and listen to it? I hope Covid (or any natural disasters) did NOT get you.

Just found this and all I can say is if you write again or are still writing next time don't try fluffing your story with big or fancy words. Don't throw all that Shakespeare crap together to make it look good because all it'll do is confuse your average reader to shit and make them lose interest it's probably why you've only got a few hundred faves follows rather thousands even after a decade. A story needs to be readable not fancy
