This was a really great plot for how Hidan/Sakura could work. Really enjoyable. Thank you for sharing with us.

I couldn't continue reading this as Hidan's swearing burned my eyes and made him really abusive and Sakura was all, ok call me what you want for no reason.
Otherwise you write really well.
Bakit means pain in Tagalog right?

Wow. This story supports a theory I have, the most modest an author is about his or her writing abilities on the profile, the better a writer they turn out to be.
What I liked:
The premise- you never really see Hidan seriously trying to convert anyone in the anime. He insults the rest of the Akatsuki, calling them athiests, and it's perhaps assumed he tried to convert all of them at one point or another (especially Kakuzu) but it's never explicitly mentioned, which is odd, given his fanatical devotion to his religion. So, in my opinion, your fic did what the best fics do- it found a point of the original series ripe for improvement or elaboration.
Your new jutsu created an interesting plot dynamic as well, because Sakura is known for hitting Naruto with impunity and you created a situation where she'd have to think carefully about her careless punishments. Most impressive of all, it was consistently applied, thusfar, which is a failing of a lot of authors. Hidan and Sakura may have forgotten about the jutsu, but YOU didn't.
Hidan was very IC, so far anyway. All stories with Hidan in the pairing have to have some degree of sentimental feeling which is a bit unrealistic, considering he was essentially portrayed as a psychopath. However his religion forces him to feel the pain of others, which can be used as a take off point for exploring empathy in his character. The problem is most fics do this much too early without exploring why he might care in the first place. Yours does not have this problem.
Also, you do an exceptionally good job with the Sakura fighting scenes. She is not overpowered (and the hell with the manga!) or as much of a one-trick ninja as she is in the manga, but rather a respectable heroine with impressive deductive and physical abilities, but not immune to making mistakes.
You do an excellent job reasoning out Sakura's though processes and the mechanics of Hidan's escape.
And everyone likes a good cliffhanger.
What I didn't like:
*Thinks very hard*
I found a few minor grammar mistakes, but I've never found another story with this few mistakes.
By the way, I don't think that everyone who converts to Jashinism would necessarily be immortal. I think Hidan is immortal because he is a prophet of Jashin and Jashin bestowed that honor upon him, but not every convert would necessarily be found worthy. I read that in one of the Kishimoto fansites which doesn't make it gospel, but it would provide a rationale for why oro wouldn't turn Jashinist. It could also be that he doesn't want to have to feel other people's pain, or... his pursuit of immortality was really a pursuit of knowledge if you think about it. He didn't want to be immortal for immortality's sake, he merely wanted to learn all the knowledge in the world personally, which is probably an impossible endeavor, and at any rate, he realized he needed an infinite amount of time to accomplish it. His bodies were merely a means to that end.
And just so you know, I don't usually write this much in a review but your story really got me thinking. In fact I can't read the second chapter now because I spent so long writing this. Don't take it as a slight if I never get around to reviewing chapter 2, it'll simply be because I expended so much energy on this review xD.
