| Zephyr chapter 102 . 7/22/2019
In my humble opinion, the five best were:
-Haruhi: At Dawn. Sounds very like her, this meticulous, thoughtful, rebellious irregularity.
-Haruhi: About God. Because how clever speculation, wild fantasy and heart are all present.
-Itsuki: Making Faces. Its so very interesting. It feels it must have happened like this.
-Yuki: Mantra. The discourse. Alien-like but very human.
-Yuki: Dispensation. Believable.
In general, I liked Imouto (a lot), Yuki, Sasaki, Kunikida, Arakawa, Taniguchi, Nakagawa, Emiri, Samishen, both Presidents, Disappearance Itsuki, ENOZ, Kyon and Ryoko. On the other hand, Tsuruya, Kuyou, Mori, Asahina the Younger and the Elder felt consciuous of feelings I think should be secret to them, at least during the time of the Haruhi novels.

Intriguing. Evocative. Insightful. OK, enough adjectives.
These were very interesting. I can understand your self-appointed task. Many times I was reminded of haiku reading these, the economy of words, the mere sketching of feelings. The constraint of form. I'd never be able to do this, I am far too prone - and fond of - sesquipedalian loquaciousness to surrender to the urge to write to a constrained form, my appreciation of haiku notwithstanding.
Worst? Best? I am loathe to label any of these either. Howabout sufficiently good to offer insight and a different perspective? I am most intrigued by the shinjin episodes - now I want to try something with them as a focus. What, I don't know yet, but something. Thanks for the idea.
I may yet re-read and offer my feelings about worst/best/what needs work. Please don't hold your breath on that, 'tho.
| Lord Machiavelli's Understudy chapter 102 . 12/20/2012
I truly enjoyed these.
My favorites were both of the Okabe ones and the last two Kyon pieces. There is just something about a character being set on fire that appeals to me.
I also liked the Mori and Emiri ones, mostly because of their voices.
Tsuruya was difficult to get behind (although the one with Itsuki thinking about Tsuruya was great) and Sasaki is just so bland (although her thought that she would like to keep Kyon unchanged so she could watch him was neat).

Your writing is phenomenal, each chapter working so well to capture the characters... dare I say... better than the show does. *clap clap clap* :D

Awwwwwwwwww. A beautiful tie-in to the first chapter!
| justbehappydammit chapter 100 . 1/28/2012
Hm! So that's who the UNKNOWN was. Can't say I'm super surprised, it makes sense after all.
| justbehappydammit chapter 88 . 1/28/2012
Oh man the way you write this guy... he sounds like one of those mostly harmless cartoon villains, y'know?
| justbehappydammit chapter 82 . 1/28/2012
Oh man, Kyon sounds so badass here. That should be his catchphrase; "No tools. No powers. No problem."
| justbehappydammit chapter 74 . 1/28/2012
Hahahahaha. Oh Taniguchi, you so silleh. You have no idea how wrong you are.
| justbehappydammit chapter 73 . 1/28/2012
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE! BA-DA-BADADA! ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE! BA-DA-BADADA! ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, LOVE! LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED!
Ah, that felt good to get out of my system.
| justbehappydammit chapter 33 . 1/28/2012
Oh. Oh my. My, my! That is hilarious and terrifying at the same time. Hilariffying. I know that's not a real word, but it expresses this chapter perfectly.
| justbehappydammit chapter 7 . 1/28/2012
"Protagony" is perhaps my new favorite word.
| meterion chapter 102 . 7/21/2011
This was really amazing; so much variety in character and emotion, really a better read than a lot of 'normal' fics
| SWORDJ chapter 102 . 7/8/2011
Brilliant insight and characterization! However, Some of them were slightly confusing. Still, I loved all of the chapters of Ryoko and Yuki! I also especially liked "Mikuru & Itsuki : Divided as One" and most chapters of Tsuruya's and Mikuru's. This is why I love this series, which is so full of little but significant mysteries.
| Anon chapter 66 . 5/17/2011
I actually went and looked up "Milquetoast."
It's amazing how the whole meaning of the chapter changes by replacing two words in the last sentance.
