I love this so far, very well written, my only beef is that Amanda didn't even get one good kick into Jason's face...or any other squishy part of him.

I loved this. LOVED IT. I cannot express how nthusiastic I am about this story. I loved the insight into different cultures, Sarek and Amanda are so sweet, the dialogue is wonderful, and the progression of the plot was skillful. I read it all in one day, I liked it so much, haha.

Sorry that only now at Chapter 57 am I writing a review. This story is fabulous. I loved the support that Sarek and Amanda gave to Josef; most of all I loved that Sarek had an epiphany.

Thank you for writing such a wonderful, and captivating story. I enjoyed every minute of it, despite sitting up until three in the morning to read it. Sarek and Amanda are one of my two all time favorite pairs, and you more than did them justice.

Was looking for a good Amanda and Sarek fic on AO3 and I found yours :3 I was super excited to see that it was complete over here. I love this story and I enjoy how you wrote the characters

Loving this story! So interesting and well-written.

This was a fascinating read. I enjoyed seeing the politics that surrounded such a high-profile wedding and the slow-burn relationship as it progressed (and I kept on mentally casting young Amanda as Anne Hathaway for some reason, which made everything more amusing).

That being said, for all of its allusions to the LGBTQI struggle for marriage equality, it was odd that the fic didn't allude to any same-sex Vulcan/Human couples. Would they have a greater struggle in some parts of the world? I mean, I can understand your reticence in wanting to open that particular can of worms, but I thought it would be fascinating to see your take on interspecies same-sex marriage as it does more or less amplify the same conflict faced by Sarek and Amanda.

I did enjoy the fic very much though; stayed up till 5am reading it. You write their relationship beautifully and there was always a certain element of tension that kept me going.

This is a beautiful story and I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't even realize they are curious about Sarek and Amanda's relationship.

Loving the story. So many versions of the romance between Amanda and Sarek. This one has the unusual twist of Amanda meeting with Sybok a lot earlier than expected.
