Oh, Sarek. Twice?

Oh, wow, this is great. I am shocked to enjoy something that shows Sarek in "love" with someone other than Amanda. (I never liked Perrin.) But T'Sala seemed like a really nice girl with a good head on her shoulders. She and Sarek seemed to be perfect childhood sweethearts - a very good match arranged at 7. Her death is sad, but I suspect his experience with her makes him open to Amanda and a realtionship with her. I liked T'Sala. I almost sad she's gone ... almost. She did need to make room for Amanda. :)

This princess is going to be trouble tough ... I can tell. A bad experience all around. (I always thought a Vulcan "princess" was stupid anyway. Other than that mention in ST5, I don't think there's been any other Vulcan royalty.)

You know, this backstory actually makes Sarek's decision to bond Spock at 7 that much more logical. Although he chose Amanda freely and was very happy with that choice, he had a very good exeperience with an arranged childhood bond and perhaps hope for that same experience and acceptance for Spock. This calls for a future discussion between Sarek and adult Spock where Sarek explains what he had hoped for his son with the marriage to T'Pring.

Oh good job,, well done. your description of both children as the bond in created was great. I could really feel and see what those two were going thru. I would love to read more about Sarek and T'Sala before you introduce Amanda. It just a Vulcan Love Story

Sarek is only slightly below his son in my favorite fictional characters of all time list. So to see a talented author like you take up a story about him I did a happy dance that made my son laugh!
