Reviews for Hats Off
S. Vale chapter 11 . 2/12/2010
This was an astoundingly good story. I enjoy your take on Wonderland lore and Hatter's conflict with the emotions. The open ended conclusion is pretty awesome too. After all, real life is hardly ever as neatly wrapped up as fanfiction tends to be, and I think the way you tied it all together was brilliant.
GreenEyedBabe chapter 10 . 2/11/2010
awesome story. I wondered after watching it how long he was in wonderland before joining her. Plus the voice doesn't match his that calls her name as she kind of comes to inside the building so i figured he lied about being the one to find her.

I didn't think about the feeling thing and that was awesome to read. Great job. Would love to see where it goes in your story, but this is a good ending too.

Thanks for sharing.
angel chapter 11 . 2/8/2010
Aw, I love that line. The 'can I keep you?' from Peter Pan. Ok so back on track now. I really enjoyed the story. It had enough plot, not too much not too little, to keep me coming back. The details were good too. I was a little sad that you said there wasn't going to be a sequel. I want to know more about what happens after, although if you ever did write one I hope Hatter never loses that edge.
mexicantt chapter 11 . 1/19/2010
Like you, I have always always loved that line, "Can I keep you?" and how could someone not? It's like the ultimate romantic fantasy to have someone whisper those words to you.

I really liked this, how you portrayed what it is like to be from Wonderland v. being an Oyster...and how you brought them together and how Hatter might just make it to be Mad someday but still seeks Alice in spite of it.
Ebs chapter 11 . 1/18/2010
d'aww! i love Casper! i've always thought that was one of the best lines ever! This was such a good story, thank you so much for writing this.
Pirate Gyrl chapter 11 . 1/17/2010
Heh. 'Can I keep you?' That is the greatest line from Casper. It was my favorite line as well.

Anyway, I have no idea how I missed this since you updated, like, three days ago and I just reviewed this morning. I was a bit confused, but it was early and I blame it on lack of sleep.

Loved the ending. I have to agree with the way you ended it. I like that you left it with a little bit of danger left over. It made for a fantastic wrap up to a wonderful story. I would love to see more from you, even if it's not a sequel.
Pirate Gyrl chapter 10 . 1/17/2010
Brilliant. I love how you had Alice help Hatter overcome the overload of emotions. And the end was simply sweet. And yet a little hot at the same time. Keep it up! I can't wait to read what happens next!
Ravenclaw Samurai chapter 11 . 1/15/2010
I love it! You may be a little twisted for not giving us complete closure on Hatter's emotional and mental situation but I think you ended it brilliantly - just perfect for Hatter. He's always been a mysterious player and I think this ending reflects that and well, I'm going to be optimistic anyways and think "Happy Ever After" so it's all gravy baby!

Also, the line "Can I keep you?" That's from Casper, right? Right? I'm pretty sure that's the qoute you're talking about and I love it! I always thought that was a wonderfully sweet line and I liked seeing you use it. It a line Hatter could say and Alice's reply just made it even better. Thanks for the story - I'd love to see more Alice & Hatter stories from you. :D
