I knew it was going in that direction! I'm glad I was right about it! I have forgotten about Dr. Cullen though. It was a shock when he showed up. Now, clearly, Edward had been turned and he's got to show up again, right? I hope it's soon!

It sounds like you're rewriting Twilight in a different time era! It's an exciting concept and, when I'm done with this review, I'll read the other chapters.

I read Twilight myself and adored the books. But when I saw the movies, I hated them all. Terrible acting, combined with completely forgetting the point of the novels really killed my love of the series, sadly.

Though, it really is great to read something fresh! I can't wait to read more!

I think it's a great start! I could see it happening as you describe it. Love the detail in the colors of dresses/eyes for example.

And when you are describing the staircase you have that there is a panting (I'm assuming it should be painting?)
