Written by J.K.R herself, I don't know why authors love underestimated the intelligence of witches and wizards just because they do not use muggle technology you assume that their less intelligent than muggles which honestly is freaking ridiculous they have the power of magic the ability to alter reality itself from its most basic fundamental levels up. They have shown a mastery over space and even to some extent time and you think that they know less about how the universe works then muggles do how does that even make sense to you? With all the things that they can do you think that they would have issues using magic to scan the entirety of the human body and any other living creature for that matter to understand exactly how their body works and how everything in the body is connected? Look at the fifth book when they went into the department of mysteries and solved some of the experiments in there the unspeakables were literally studying the brain that was study and how thoughts work among other seeing something like that you come to the conclusion that wizards and witches would not understand how the organs work or they wouldn't understand how diseases work. Obviously they had to understand how these things work before they could then come up with spells to solve the issue. You mentioned the skele-grow potion in this, That portion was created centuries ago before humans even understand how important bone marrow was and yet the potion not only regrows bones but also regrow bone marrow so long before muggles ever understood the importance of bone marrows wizards dead and made a potion to regenerate bone marrow along with bone. At the end of the day wizards and witches because of their magic have their own way of understanding the universe and whether you like it or not it is far superior to anything muggles can do.

I ca understand te reasoning why this Harry seems to be having trouble wirh the troll but after this he better wisen the fuck up and practice properly cause otherwise he's just gonna be one huge dissapointment
